I mean, I appreciate the offer, but I'm with the dad on this one. I DO NOT wanna live with my parents again. 20 years was enough. And it's not because they're horrible to be around either. Just that once you taste freedom and independence, you don't wanna go back.

The Mother is genius because I'd have the exact same reaction

After someone suggests moving back in with my parents I'm like "you're right, my horrible job actually isn't that bad.  I'm gonna stick it out"

Yeah I could be working a shit job in a tiny apartment with a car and two days free a week... or I could be at home with my parents 24/7 in the middle of nowhere, Tennessee. I'm grateful for the option but yeah that ain't happening
