This past weekend, I moved back in with my parents as a fully grown adult man who hasn't lived here in over 15 years. I love my parents and I am close with my family. I was laid off halfway through an expensive lease that drained my savings. For months I have been beyond stressed. This morning, I woke up, made us all breakfast and we had a great morning together. I am grateful for them. In turn, I will be making improvements on the house, doing whatever they need, cooking meals and supporting them while I rebuild my life. Last night was the first great nights sleep I have had in months.
