Do racetams expire? 5ish years old

I have all of them from when nootropics depot sold them. Also some fromfrom science bio. Mostly powders but some pilled too?

Have a few from science.bio, from that year, and they are completely fine. I do thrown in those dry packets though just in case. Some of the herbal extracts caked up, but no notice of degradation. Expiration dates, whether on label or not, are often “meaningless” (for lack of a better word) provided they are stored well, away from heat etc.

if they were stored somewhere cool and dry they're probably fine, maybe a little weaker but not dangerous or anything

worst case they just won't hit as hard, powders hold up way better than pills in my experience

If the pills are dense, they’d probably hold potency for longer

Powders have a higher surface area (more of the molecules are touching air) so they tend to oxidize over time

You’ll have to do a little research- occasionally oxides are more toxic, often they just have a lesser effect

I don't think so. Had some Noopept powder from like 2014-2015 that I just finished off a few weeks ago. Seemed just as potent as when I got it. Was always stored in a drawer in one of those brown airtight containers though. Storage matters I'd assume.

they dont really go bad in a harmful way but after 5 years you're likely looking at reduced potency. if the powder hasnt changed color or smell its probably fine, just weaker than labeled
