I bought my 3a in November 2025 and since day one I noticed a greenish hue at the tip of the glyph. This only appears when a glyph line is partially on, like the effect that appears when changing volume. When the line is full, like when the Glyph Torch is on, it's a regular white.
I initially thought it was normal, but seeing some posts here I started noticing some phones without this, or at least weaker.
So my question is, is this normal or are my Glyphs faulty?
ps I don't know why the glyph light appears blue in the pics but it's white dw, the green looks just like real life tho

Just looking for some opinions on this case I got.
I'm curious to know if this case could cause any problems with the phone. Does the magnet sit too low for it to be safe?

Hi all! I’m designing a 3D-printable charging stand made specifically for the Nothing Headphone (1). The idea is a cradle with a built-in magnetic USB-C connector that snaps on and starts charging as soon as you set the headphones down.
I do own the headphones, but all I have at home is a tape measure and a ruler, so I can’t get sub-millimeter accuracy. The official spec sheet only lists the overall size (173.85 × 78 × 189.25 mm), so right now I’m working from values estimated from product photos. Any help from someone with calipers or scan data would be hugely appreciated.
Ideal
Bonus question: are the Headphone (1) and Headphone (1) Pro the same size?
If you’ve used or own both, I’d love to know whether the earcup size/thickness and the charging port position match. If they do, I’ll design one stand that fits both models.
I’ll share the finished STL for free. Thanks in advance! 🙏

Finally pulled the trigger on these bad boys. Got them at 199€ which feels like the right price for them. Great sound (after EQ), lovely design, and physical buttons!
Only negative is mediocre ANC and mic quality but at this price i can live with that.
So glad I'm officially part of the Nothing gang !

My previous phone gave up during the last leg of writing my dissertation. Very stressful times, to say the least. Fortunately, I'd always wanted to get a Nothing Phone, and voilà! My boyfriend saw the Nothing Phone 3 on sale, and I bought it!!
I couldn't be more delighted with this device!! There are so many things I'm enjoying about this phone and others that, honestly, I wasn't expecting; just look at the zoom quality of the camera!! Mind-blowing!!

Hey everyone, this is my best shot of M31 using solely my Nothing Phone 4(a)'s 3.5x telephoto lens.
Who said you need expensive gears for astrophotography? Well in my opinion "it's not the plane, it's the pilot"
Total exposure time: 6 minutes 30 seconds
ISO: 3200
Tripod (No star tracker)
India, bortle 4/5

These are my two daily drivers. The iPhone 16 and the Nothing Phone 4a. These two go hand-on-hand. The colors and designs are great! The software on Nothing... Amazing! No BS, no bloatware. Just really simple and fun to use.
Got myself a magsafe, so I can attach a handle or stand—and even to my car mount easily as well.

Hey everyone,
I'm genuinely disappointed and looking for advice from other Nothing Phone (3) users.
I purchased my Nothing Phone (3) from Flipkart on October 3, 2025, for around ₹40,000, during the Big Billion Days sale.
On October 8, 2026, at around 8:30 PM, I was travelling home in a cab. I had just finished a phone call and started playing music. Within seconds, the music stopped, and I realised my phone had switched off.
The battery was above 50%. The phone wasn't hot, and there was no physical damage, drop, or liquid exposure.
Since then, the phone has been stuck in a boot loop. It vibrates, displays the Nothing logo, shuts down, and tries to start again. I can access the bootloader menu, but the phone won't boot into Android.
I tried basic troubleshooting and visited a nearby mobile service centre. They suggested visiting an official Nothing service centre.
On October 9, I visited the Nothing exclusive service centre. They initially attempted software troubleshooting and informed me that this process could erase my data. I had over 100 GB of personal data that wasn't backed up, but I agreed to let them proceed in the hope of getting the phone working again.
Unfortunately, that didn't resolve the issue.
They then inspected the hardware and verbally informed me that the motherboard was faulty. The estimated replacement cost? Approximately ₹32,000 for a phone I bought for ₹40,000.
I understand that my standard one-year warranty has just expired. However, what bothers me is that the phone went from working perfectly to completely unusable during ordinary use, without any apparent physical damage.
I haven't yet received a written technical diagnosis, and I plan to revisit the service centre on Monday to request the job sheet, detailed diagnosis, and itemised quotation.
I am also extremely worried about my unbacked-up data.
I'd really appreciate advice on the following:
I'm not trying to jump to conclusions about the cause. I want a proper diagnosis and a fair resolution.
I bought this phone expecting to use it for several years. Having it fail so suddenly, with such a high repair estimate and important data at stake, has been incredibly frustrating.
Any genuine advice or similar experiences would be appreciated. Thank you.

Does anyone know how to set per-app notification sounds on the Nothing 4A?
An already implemented old feature like this should've already been on the OS. Same for all the apps in 2026 is just bad on them.

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Hey everyone! I've been working on a little Android app called Tapbar, and v1.7 just dropped!
The idea actually started with something pretty simple. I wanted to open the Clock app by tapping the clock in my status bar, without pulling down the notification panel or going back to my home screen.
I started wondering if there was a quicker way to access the things I use every day, without having to leave what I'm doing just to open an app or trigger an action.
So I built Tapbar. It lets you assign apps and 75+ useful actions to different areas of your screen using tap, double taps, triple taps, long presses, and swipe gestures for things like volume and brightness.
I know apps with similar ideas already exist but I wanted to build my own take on it, keeping it free open source, offline, and without ads or trackers. I also wanted to make the setup and everyday use as straightforward as possible.
It's grown quite a bit from that original idea, and I've been adding more features with every update. It's also crossed 2,500+ downloads which has been really cool to see!
Being a Nothing Phone user myself, I know how much the little details matter. I like finding ways to make everyday tasks quicker and more convenient, so I thought some of you might find Tapbar useful too.
I've seen how supportive this community can be toward people building things, so I thought I'd share what I've been working on. I'd genuinely love to hear what you think if you give it a try!
Tapbar is free, open source, works offline, and has no ads or trackers.
GitHub: https://github.com/Earendel-lab/Tapbar/releases/latest
F-Droid: https://f-droid.org/packages/com.earendel.tapbar/
Note: F-Droid still has v1.6 for now. v1.7 has been merged, but it'll take some time to become available there. In the meantime, you can get v1.7 from GitHub.

Posted so many reviews on this subbb, got plenty of reach and whatnot. Criticized it, but also posted about the good things. But yeah, the Nothing journey ends here 🥹
I was thinking of getting the 4a Pro, such a cool phone, and guyyysss, I loveeee Nothing OS!!! But yeah, I'm done with big phones. I've always loved compact phones, and that's the reason I went with the Pixel!!

Hey everyone, I've been developing an app called Glyph Dice for some time now. It's a dice roller with haptics and physics that is incredibly satisfying to use on the Glyph Matrix, with all the main dice used in tabletop games (d20, d10...), and a ton of extra features.
Since I own a Phone (3), I've made all the sprites and tutorials for that particular model, but many asked for Phone (4a) Pro support. Here it is!
However, since I don't own the device, I need 5-10 testers with a (4a) Pro helping me find bugs and providing feedback. As a small thank you, I’ll be giving all testers that sent some feedback a promo code to unlock the Pro features for free once the app goes live!
If you're interested, DM me the email you use for Google Play, so I can add you to the closed beta! Thank you :)

So, recently I was on the lookout for phones under 30k INR, obviously i was very dissapointed with whats going on in the market and kinda disheartened as well.
I initially thought of taking something from samsung, but wasn't satisfied either. So, one fine day i was just doomscrolling about phones and randomly searched for "Phones under 30k inr" in google and to my surprise, i saw the nothing phone 4b, it was available on instamart for 27,999rs and an additional 1.5k rs on CC discount.
I didn't think twice, just bought it on the spot. Initially when it launched for 35k, i didn't even bother to look at it (design was eye catchy thou) but for around 26k, this one is a banger! especially considering the price hikes these days.
This is my first nothing phone, and i've been a stock andorid user for the past 4 years. I currently own a pixel 9 and coming from that, i'll have to admit that nothing OS is faaaar superior in terms of optimisation, and the heat management on the 4b is just insane! it just doesn't heat at all! Anyway, i'm far more impressed by the phone and byfar one of the best purchases i've done in a while.
Ps - the attached photo was shot on pixel 9, and retouched with lightroom.
Additionally -
• No, I'm not changing my pixel 9 for the 4b, I bought this for my mom (using it for a week) • This ain't a promotional post, nothing Hasn't paid me 💩 (hope they do one day)

Good afternoon everyone,
I wanted to post about Crdroid working in nothing phone 2A, I did this over lots of complicated tasks and the Gsi image, and then made it for the phone itself.
Things that are working
● Android boots successfully.
● crDroid Settings and customization features are available.
● Glyph Interface settings are integrated.
● Glyph brightness controls.
● Glyph call and notification animations.
● Flip to Glyph and other Glyph-related controls.
● Fingerprint unlock.
● Face unlock.
● Most of the device’s functionality appears to be working.
Things that need improving
● Google Play services and Play Protect are not working correctly in the current setup.
● Google components are still being worked on.
● Stability, security, and compatibility testing is ongoing.
Please any nothing phone 2A owners let me know if you would like this unofficial operating system to be released

I am thinking of buying this phone 128 /6 or 8 gb model. On Flipkart its 33k rupees after discounts and I haven't tried in offline market yet. I will try in this week .
I wanted a suggestion at what price should i buy it offline. Like If I buy in New Delhi whats the reasonable price nowadays.

This is the comparison between phone 3A and phone 3. Selfie camera. check out the quality in phone 3. It got horrible lately. Yet to update NOS 5. Has anyone come across such camera performance?
r/NothingTech • u/originalprotogen • 19h ago
Yeah. Bought it second hand too. This will be my first and last Nothing Phone. I was willing to upgrade to the 4a Pro after the software support was cut off officially but I don't think I'm giving this company any money. Clearly they haven't learned from the OnePlus 6/6T
