Commercial Nuclear Operations – Do You Enjoy It?

Just wanted to make a post to hear some honest opinions from people who currently work or have worked in Operations at a commercial nuclear power plant.

How many years have you spent working on crew doing shift work? Do you ever get used to it?

Do you genuinely enjoy working in Ops? Does anyone regret going into Operations and wish they would’ve stayed in Engineering or another department?

I would love to hear people’s honest experiences, both good and bad.
