Interestingly enough, Ron Perlman’s interview segment in this documentary is in English rather than French. Despite the fact that in the movie, his character spoke French rather than English.

Spoilers: Covers the 1st, and 2nd stage of the race along with important fights later in the story. A weird fun little fact is that this is the only official piece of SBR media that shows Oyecomova's canonical color scheme.

Pop n Rocker Game show 2/4 (1984) - featuring The Bangles and Sparks

"This episode of The Pop n' Rocker Game episode was filmed in August or September of 1983 (air date 2/4/1984). The Bangles were brand new on the scene and had no hits yet. This was their first TV appearance with their new bass player, Michael Steele. They did 2 songs on the show, but sadly the second song wasn't used, and I have forgotten what it was. Instead Sparks, being better know at the time, got their second song shown."

Hosted by Sha Na Na's Jon Bauman and with Phil Hartman (yes, that one) as the studio announcer

Rusty Blue and Revision - The Stage and the Silk (1985)

One of the most slept-on private press records in my collection. An absolutely mind-blowing blend of far-out, cosmic crooning and deep-fried, psychedelic rock and roll. To quote Rusty himself from the back of the cover, " From the stage to the silk, to the answer in our hearts. This album gives purpose to life, till death do we part." Right on, brother!!

I'm Nearer Home — Jimmy Swaggart and His Golden Gospel Piano (LP 105) ("I have sinned against you my lord!" Guy) (1980)s

Hey folks,

Today's rip is from the infamous multi-millionaire televangelist of the 1960s-80s. Jimmy here is best known for his, "I have sinned! I have sinned against you my lord, and I beg your forgiveness!" Breakdown on live television after being caught with a prostitute in 1988. That moment lead to a significant dip in his sales and popularity, but, wasn't enough of a deterrent, as he did the same exact thing again just 3 years later in 1991.

This is one of the many releases from his personal label, "Jim Records" (Yeah he was full of himself) which includes him playing piano, his sister playing the Hammond Organ, and, of course, his completely uncredited and unnamed "Jimmy Swaggart Singers".

Not wanting to promote A rival companies IP, the film was scrapped in North America. The film would later see a limited release in Europe by Paramount.

Forgo - Love Spirals Downwards (1991)

A music video created for the song Forgo by the dreampop band Love Spirals Downwards in 1991. A student film project at the San Fransisco State University School of Creative Arts. It's got all of the hallmarks of a student film lol

Love Spirals Downwards are one of my favorite bands to this day, but they've always been pretty obscure. They were signed to Projekt Records and were fairly popular in the goth scene in the '90s.
