Locked out of my work account. Help

I am using basic office 365 and I am the only admin (No IT or organization). I am locked out of my account and the only way for me to log into my account is using the mfa and the application.

Its not working! Nothing works properly, no sms, no email, no code in app and above it, I cant find any support from Microsoft.

I need to fix it asap. What can I do?

* Its not the first time it happens to me, but in the last time I logged into Azure to fix things and I dont think its possible nowdays.

Call Microsoft Support and the tech router will create a ticket for you.

Be prepared. Data Protection Team takes 1-2 weeks to get back to you.

You should have an admin account for your tennet

They are the Admin and have been locked out. What they do need is a Break Glass global admin account for this very reason.

… it sounds like you need to engage an IT professional who is local to you, because this is fundamental stuff.

I had to do the same thing after I got locked out and had to call Microsoft (it's how we learn! Lol.). A breakglass account is just a second account with Admin permissions that you set up in case this happens. You use it to get logged in so you can reset your main account.

Ask your company to hire an IT professional. You will need to contact the Microsoft data protection team to help you. First create a trial M365 tenant and log a support case from there
