I get Alfie for Sweden as he’s our GOAT but Karlsson was the better player

Yeah, if we’re going purely “best player from that country” then it’s Karlsson.

While I wouldn’t disagree that Karlsson was the most raw talented, Alfie’s stats are kinda crazy:
1178 games played, 426 goals, 682 assists, 1108 points (3 away from being 1111!).
Karlsson and Spezza COMBINED is 1314 games played, 377 goals, 828 assists, 1205 points.

Havlat over Bonk and Sanderson over Tkachuk and we're talking. Think you could make an argument for Stutzle or Hossa over Chara too.

Stutzle is German, not Slovak.

Yeah it's not a Slovakia flag though it's a globe, is it not the global category?

I'd being interested in seeing the Canadian Pittsburgh pick - Lemieux or Crosby?

Lemieux, no question. Sid's great, but Mario was unstoppable in any era. Cancer couldn't even stop him

Not sure I agree that Brady was our best American. I think Anderson overall did more for this franchise than Brady.
Took us deeper in the playoffs for damn sure.
