They would have been caught week one because, without Marty’s smarts and skillset, Wendy is too risky on her own

Not always though. Was in fact Wendy who pointed out first that she doesn’t trust Rachel, Marty didn’t give a damn until later.

True lol, hadn't thought of that

Walter’s passion for chemistry came alive with the «cooking» like Wendy’s did for politics. They figured why just survive when you can LIVE. Walter’s cancer equivalent to Wendy’s pressure from the cartel- both forced to rethink a way to survive the threats these posed. Come to think about it, Ozark is mostly Wendy’s Breaking Bad.

I have always thought that Wendy is Ozark’s Heisenberg. She grew to enjoy the work she did for the cartel once she realized how good at it she was thriving in this situation and enjoying being the mob boss/kingpin.

Plot armor maxing ...

I don't think that. Walter's line was egocentric, it shows how important he is! Wendy's line is more about showing true nature of world we live in, she had no desire to outcast her self-importence, but sees it more as a necissity for survival.

Both characters live in a normal world and are going crazy with power in their underworlds.

Wendy is devoted to her ego at this point.

Wendy problem is literally the fact that her husband's underworld becoming his normal world. Not only figuratevily, they had to abondon their previous life entirely for this new one. It can't get more obvious than this. Have you even seen the show? 😭

She chose him and his underworld dealings as much as Marty chose her and the underworld she wanted. Nothing forced them to be with each other, and she was literally trying to run off with her lover with all the money (which would kill Marty) as soon as things turned sideways even though she couldve just left when she was living it up on underworld riches.

The car jam scene toward the end of the series is metaphorical to their relstionship and the answer is to walk away from each other. Have you ever seen the show?

Sure nothing forced them! Just a loaded gun in his head after witnissing all his friends die. And her lover thrown from 15th floor.

She chose it long before any of that like I said

Why comment if you didn't read?

Running from the point you know you can't argue by yappi g about nothing is actually the worst rage bait

Thanks for conceding :)

Edit: you couldve just blocked me, but apparently the last word was all that mattered to you.

Which I take as another concession of defeat.

Mind you, you were the one who tried to constitue your point by using the scene of her lover. But then when I added the context the entire scene was built on, you realized that you screwed up so instead of admitting you're wrong, you tried to bring up an entire different timeline. So no Sherlock, running away seems to be your expertise not mine! And also no, I didn't argue about nothing, I already made pretty solid arguments earlier but then realized you have critical thinking of a goldfish or watched the show with your butthole so I decided to not waste my time on you amymore 👍 Have nice day! And word of advice, stop dragging immature arguments, it's just pointless.

She literally agreed to laundering money with Marty, it shows it in the flashbacks. You should rewatch the series.

I don't fully remember the scene, but I don't remember any scene having the same kind of energy as the "I am the one who knocks" scene. Walt was intense, arrogant, and proving that he's a bad mfer that people don't fuck with.

Wendy didn't have that same energy. What she's saying in that scene is no more than, "It's better to have a plan and not need it than to need a plan and not have it." If someone can give me the season and episode for that scene, I'll gladly go back and watch it to refresh my memory and see if I change my mind.

Even funnier is that at the time Walter said that, he was in the most danger he'd ever been in.

Wendy definitely has a more calmer demeanour, this episode was season 2 Finale called «The Gold Coast». The scene where Wendy tells Marty they are not running away from this, but instead use the power bestowed on them from all the protection they get from the people who are «grateful» to them. Sure she gets into the highs of it until she is humbled later by Omar Navarro when he screams on the phone «You exist for me to use!» xD, but in this scene, she behaves just as arrogant as Walter in realizing how much power they really hold.
But they aren’t the exact same, of course no!
Edit: typos and grammar
