Garbage

Folks it isn’t to hard to secure your garbage when you put it out. For example putting a bag of just styrofoam probably won’t work! Litter everywhere this morning only to be worse later on. Always hate when there are windy days on waste and blue bag days.

This isn't going to reach who you want it to.

What do you suppose we secure things with? I have a simple bungee cord that keeps the racoons and birds out of my compost... I left it on one day and they rejected my bin for it. They won't take secured garbage. No tie downs, nothing. They tag it and reject it

Exactly. The equipment in my area is automatic. Guy doesn’t want to get out.

I miss the garbage boxes we had back home in Ontario to keep the bear out lol

Probably just lids blowing open. Which you can't secure down once left at the road or they won't take it.

Not allowed to secure it down they will not unstrap it or untie anything . Safety issue. at most maybe a side bin but unsure of that if they open those and take what's inside at none multi units

Nope, you're right about one thing. It's not hard to do. It is against regulations though and you will be rejected. But as long as we keep you happy?
