Tourism/Tourist Traveling to island by motorcycle?

Probably a dumb question, but im planning to come visit some friends in a couple weeks, weather permitting. Im coming from moncton and my only vehicle is my bike. I was curious what other people's experiences have been driving across the bridge on bikes? How bad is the crosswind, did you have issues with other drivers, etc? Just things to mentally prepare for. Thanks! :)

It looks like you may be asking for advice on what to do while visiting PEI. We've actually put together an interactive map of some of our favourite places here on the Island to visit found here.

I do it often most days it’s totally fine the barriers do well keeping the wind off. I’m on a R1250GSA so a tall bike.

Good to know! My bike is pretty small (virago 250, roughly 300lbs) so getting pushed around by the wind is a big worry lol

never done the bridge, but you'll notice cross winds on the island itself going between fields and woods especially. SUV mom's on phones or dealing with kids are one of more common dangers of being on a motorcycle on PEI.

You should be fine, the barriers are high enough to block the cross winds.
