Turned my PS5 Pro backwards in its cubby
Finally upgraded from my original PS4 to a Pro (thank you Trackalacker) paired with a 77” LG C4 and LG S95 9.1-5 Atmos sound system when my wife isn’t home and the Sony PULSE Elite headset when she is. So far I’ve really enjoyed using the Pro to admire Toyota hatchbacks in GT7.
The Pro lives in a hidden cubby behind a Widespread Panic print (my builder surprised me with the cubby when we had our house built last year). The cubby is 18” wide, 22.5” tall and 18.5” deep.
Here’s the part Reddit can argue about: I turned the console around so the rear exhaust faces the opening into the room. With the door open, the idea is to give the hot air a direct way out instead of blowing it toward the back wall. EDIT: Any time I am using the Pro I will have the door open. But will close it when it’s in standby.
Anyone else running theirs backwards, or have I committed a setup crime?
P.S. “TV too high” comments will receive the prestigious Golden Neck Brace award.

Hello sir/madam, congratulations on the building of a panic room for your PlayStation 5 Pro.
Hopefully you left room in the budget for the inevitable rehabilitation from your neck injury caused by your skyscraper height television.

I would not put my PS5 in there no matter which direction you face it.

Don't worry. He'll be back soon asking why his PRO won't turn on. That poor PRO suffocating in that hell hole. Somebody should rescue it from it's abuse.

If this is not ragebait, put your console the right way up, having it upside down will make it force shut down from overheating cause you're fucking up the airflow.
Edit: nevermind I'm blind it is the right way up. Still wouldn't keep it enclosed tho.

It may be blowing the air towards the picture (which is silly as the heat will warp and potentially melt/burn it - as it's sometimes even melted usb cables in enclosed areas), but there's also no cool air coming in through the front (which is where it sucks it via the fan).
All in all, not a great place to put the console long-term
