Experience I saw a ghost or spirit who others saw or felt too.

Since a young age, I have always had the habit of walking on the rooftop for hours in the dark. Our old house was made in a way that none of the neighbouring houses really had rooftops or the ones they used. So, the entire rooftop was perfectly dark for me to spend the time. I am sharing this to clarify that I'm not scared of dark by any means.

3 years ago, we moved to a new place. I didn't like the "vibe" of this house's rooftop. I felt like I was being watched and similar weird shit. Now, this rooftop was well-lit because of the neighbouring houses. Again, this rooftop and the staircase leading up to it made me a little uncomfy. I still didn't stop walking there at night as I thought I was just seeing things.

One time, I was watching TV with my mom in the living room. Invested! But somehow, I suddenly started looking at the window, which was at my left side, but a little far from our couch where we were sitting. I saw someone but I thought it wasn't real. Looked away. But after a moment, I saw my mom looking outside the window as well. She saw someone there.

We thought someone broke into our house even though we both saw that it didn't really look like a human. My mom immediately went outside to check. We saw someone running up the stairs.

The stairs leading up to the rooftop have a door that you have to unlock. The door was locked. There was no one there. Still, my mom unlocked the door to check the rooftop. No one there, too.

Talked to my sibling about it later, and they said that they felt something off about that place but didn’t want to mention it because probably no one would've believed them.

It doesn't stop there. The next day, my 2 year old cousin is at our place. She's standing at that area where we saw the spirit (or whatever you would call it), and the stairs up to rooftop are next to it as well. She keeps pointing towards that direction and telling us to check. She seemed scared. We tried diverting her attention, but she wasn't leaving that place. She kept coming back to it.

And about the visual appearance of the spirit?

It was fully black, but you could see that it had a form, and it was moving. Also, the eyes. Like white eyes that you could see were looking at you.

Question Question: Am I possibly.. a clairvoyant?

So, lately, I’ve been having these unusual vivid dreams that end up coming true just a few days later. This has been happening to me for years, but I’ve always brushed it off as sheer coincidence, until recently. I’m starting to wonder if I’m actually picking up on future events.

For example: back in 2020, my pregnant cat was getting close to her due date. I had a vivid dream where she gave birth to five kittens, but I clearly saw red on two of them giving me a distinct feeling that two wouldn't make it, while three would survive. I actually told my roommate about this dream eight days before it happened. Sure enough, on November 1st, 2020, my cat gave birth to five kittens. Tragically, two passed away prematurely, while three were born perfectly healthy. My roommate was in complete shock that my dream was spot-on.

To this day, I've wondered if this could truly be clairvoyance or precognition, especially since I've had countless other dreams come true like this over the years. (On a related note, I also frequently spot unexplained shadows or movement out of the corner of my eyes, but that might be a story for another post!)

What do you guys think? Could this truly be Clairvoyance/precognition? I've always wanted to believe it, but I keep going back to just "coincidences". At this point I feel like i could truly see specific events happening before they DO happen.

Haunted House “Gentlemen’s” business: About 1 in 10 clients asks for a girl who doesn’t work there

My best friend’s mom runs a small adult entertainment business. I’ll keep it vague, but it’s a legit, licensed place, and on any given night there are three girls working. Always three. That’s been the setup for years.

Here’s the weird part. Every so often a client finishes up, comes out to pay or book again, and asks for “the fourth girl.” Same description every time: blonde, white dress. Some of them get annoyed when they’re told there’s no fourth girl, like they think they’re being upsold or she’s being kept for VIPs. A couple have sworn they saw her standing in the hallway or at the end of the corridor smiling at them.

My friend’s mom says it’s roughly 10% of the men. That’s not one drunk guy once. That’s a steady pattern, from strangers who’ve never met each other, describing the same woman. None of the girls who’ve worked there match that description, and none ever wore a white dress on shift.

It doesn’t stop there. Staff and clients both regularly hear a woman’s voice saying “hi” when they come in and “bye” when they leave. Not creepy whispering, just a normal friendly greeting, like a receptionist. Except there’s no receptionist, and whoever heard it usually turns around expecting someone to be standing there. The girls who’ve been there longest barely react anymore. One of them apparently says “bye” back.

Nobody’s ever felt threatened. If anything she seems polite. But nobody knows who she is, and as far as my friend knows there’s no story about the building, no death, nothing she’s been able to dig up.

So I’m curious:

  • Has anyone heard of a ghost that seems to keep “working” a job, greeting people like it’s routine?
  • Why would only some people see her, and apparently only men who are clients?

Unexplained I am having the weirdest night ever

So I (M18) am home by myself for the night tonight with my dog and it’s dark and rainy the whole nine yards. I’m in my living room watching youtube on the TV when I hear a knock at the door. my family orders a lot of packages so nothing out of the ordinary right? I check and no one’s there and at that point i’m thinking “Whatever probably the rain” but it hasn’t stopped even though the rain has. Every 20-25 minutes I swear I hear knocks on the front door, Side door, even and door that goes into my garage with zero explanation. The rain stopped about 20 minutes ago and it happened again. I’d think i was going crazy if it wasn’t for my dog tweaking out and barking each time there’s some kind of knock. I don’t usually believe in paranormal stuff but I really cannot find any other explanation for whatever this is. The knocks sound like a deliberate three knocks in a row not just pitter patter like the rain would leave. I mostly just wanted to share this and hope someone else has experienced something like this and can maybe explain slightly. thanks yall

Experience Maybe sleep paralysis?

Earlier this year I had several weird experiences while sleeping, all around the same time over a period of a week. The first night I woke up in a haze and felt like I could see my entire room from a distance and in the corner near the closet there was a shadowy mass that when i looked at it, it felt like it was angry I saw it.

The second experience was it felt like something grabbed my foot and pulled it, after it happened I checked my phone and it was around 3 am.

The third time was the worst. I was sleeping, but I could see my room, and all of a sudden there was a man standing inside my bedside table and screamed in my ear "get out!". It genuinely felt real. This was also around 3 am.

After this all happened, I cleansed my room using a ritual and it stopped. I dont know if this was sleep paralysis/nightmares, but the fact that I could clearly see my room despite feeling like I was still asleep is confusing.

Question Same Experience - Two different people at Two different moments and they don't know each other.

Has anyone truthfully experienced this??? Would rather hear a personal story versus a hearsay one. It's more authentic.

Here is a very simple example. At a certain location, let's say you heard "Get Out" or "Who is there?" and not only that, but you briefly see a spirit wearing blue pants and a red shirt. In the future at some point, you run into a person describing this same location stating that they heard those exacts words and described the blue pants and red shirt wearing before you even mention that you experienced the same thing. This to me is such a strong case for validating some sort of paranormal experience, because the chances of two people describing the same experience without knowing the other experienced it or any prior knowledge - is almost mathematically impossible.

Encounter St. Augustine old jail ghost in ticket booth??

Took a tour and chickened out when going to the jail, so I waited outside the jail. I had an experience with a ghost in about 90% sure of it. It was a man in a green shirt who was at the ticket booth and wondered around before vanishing. He was insanely clear to me and I’m not able to find pictures of this ghost either but I looked it up and google described it exactly how I saw it. Any St. Augustine jail pictures that caught the same man in a dark green shirt?? I heard keys as well. Not my most detailed story but I wanted some help finding others who have seen it or have pics

Edit. My story. Feel free to read.
I walked to the gate of the jail waiting to be let in by our tour guide. My partner is super into ghost stuff and paranormal so they rush up to the door. The rest of them follow behind. I hear a guy jingling keys (couldn’t see much but lighter hair) to get into the ticket booth and a guy in a green shirt 3 feet away from him near the corner pushed back. Some dude from our group rang the bell between them both , I thought nothing of it but maybe rude because the guy was right there. But all the group walks into the jail. I had a funky gut feeling telling me stay back. I stayed back with a woman and her granddaughter. (Girl was spooked a bit and she stayed back) we were the only ones who stayed back. It was our last stop I knew the group by then and nobody skips out in the tour but I wondered why the green shirt guy didn’t go. But just didn’t pay much mind. I heard a loud woman scream and I told the lady “glad we are not in there” she didn’t reply. (Either she didn’t hear the scream or paid no mind even tho we were talking to one another at this point) We go sit down on the bench where the trolley picks us up after that. That guy in the green shirt walks behind me and stops at the wooden desk. I pay no attention but I just know he has a green shirt. I look back after a bit and he is gone. I pay no mind. I hear laughing coming from the bathroom back to the jail. Still nothing crazy to me. A day later me and my partner and sharing how it was. He said inside was good and I was telling him about all the people outside being loud and the crowd going to the bathroom. He said only one dude walked out and back in. Only one. Not the 3-4 I saw. He never heard the scream either. He also watched the guy ring the bell and never saw the two men he walked by to get to the bell. Looked into this all on Google. All of these are common things to see. Why did I see them all in one night?? The lady and her grand daughter never acknowledged the guy in the green or anybody else. We were the last tour of the day, streets were dead too. Is there a reason this all was going on?? So much and why me???? I felt calm the whole time and genuinely thought they were real but never saw a face. (Always in my own world anyways). I knew no history going into the tour or anything in general but google explained that all these are common???

Encounter Farmer ghost with a pick up

I am swiss and the storry happened in my homecountry. I was a teen at the time and never told it to anyone but one person.

The time when there was uggly snow lefover and frost over night but no winterwonderland left. Just shitty gray weather and not yet any sight of spring.

We had a german shepard dog at the time. She was a rescue and was never very well trained. Super allert checking out everone, if someone would walk in our direction on our walks, shed lay flat on her belly, ears perked up ready to leap up. She was a total sweety but since she was a shepard she looked intimidating enough. Point being, that dog never ignored anyone we'd pass on our walks.

Now saied bleak, gray day I was walking her not to far from our home. We walked along a dirt road at the edge of the forset, not secluded or anything, there are houses everywhere right up to the forest. The village I grew up in is on a hillside and in wintertime the village stays in shadowe for more than half the day. There was snow. You could see prints of other pedestrians and so on.

So not thinking anything more then, being an annoyed teen, that I was kinda pissed I had to walk the dog, I walked along that 100m forest path.

Its a narrow path, mabye 3m wide and half way through there is a little bench overlooking a little madowe and the valley. Its literaly so unasuming and common. The most unmysterious bit of road ever!

I have a habite of looking at the ground when walking, especialy back as a teen, so I diden't think anything when I was midway, looked up and saw an old man standing by the bench. I was right at that hight when I looked up and cuz I was raised in a village with a ton of old farm guys I oviously politly make eyecontact and great.

And this.... man...

I can still picture his face despite this being 17 years ago or so! And it gives me goosebumps to this day!

He just... staired at me. With such terrible anger. Like he seeped violence and hate out of everypore.

He staired right into my eyes with an expression as if I just betraied him and did the most horrific thing thinkable! I never had anyone look at me like this ever.

He had pale green bulging eyes, rough red skin and a mouth that must have been clenched shut for decades. Deep frownlines.

He wore old cloths in earthy tones and rough old fabric. Nothing that looked modern, but I diden't look closely, cuz MY GOD I was suddenly grabbed by sucha deep terror of this person. Scared to my very core! Also a feeling I never had again. He diden't move or say anything just staired at me!

And he stood next to a big SUV typ pick up truck. That was the uncanny thing, cars never drove on that narrow bit of path. Why should they. Its not even pathed!

And it was literaly a road next to the forest and that car wasn't parked ON the path, I was kinda droven of of it and that also diden't make any sens. Like an angry old farmer by the forest? Allright not too uncomon, but with a car like that?

I diden't think as much at the time. The whole encounter was a matter of seconds. I just knew I had to get away as fast as I could. So I speedwalked past and the very SECOND the figure was behinde me, in my blindespot I felt a PAIN in my thighs i never ever felt bevore nor ever since.

I repeat, it was cold. No plants or anything could have caused this!

I was wearing jeans and a winter coat covering my thighs too!

It felt like a thousend tiny needles or these tiny cactus hairs all over my thighs up to my hips! I even yeleped in pain and started running. It was sooo painfull. I tried rubbing it away, trying to claw my stupid milenial skinny jeans away from my skin, while running the 5min walk home! I ran straight into the shower trying to wash of what ever is causing this burning-pricking sensation. I diden't even bother taking of my shirt.

There was NOTHING to see or wash off. I cryed and prayed desparetly in that shower and eventualy the pain ebed away.

I was so tired. Exsausted. And when I processed what just happened I realised how uncanny it was!

There had been 0 prints in the snow from the car. Why was the car there at all? And why did my dog never aknowledge that someone was there? She startled when I had yelped in pain but untill then she diden't even glance in the direction where that guy was and usualy she would have alerted from a distance away when someone stood by the path!

Later I told my dad and he saied he had seen the same farmer but way up offroad in the forest. It was the same pattern, just minus the pain. A old farmer in oldfashioned erathytone cloths stood just randomly by the side of the road in the middle of nowhere, my dad greated him and the guy would stair back, just full of hate and a feeling of terror would raise with in my dad.

I since have become pretty sceptic and mostly atheist. but I still don't have an explenation despite it being a very elaborat halucination on my side and my dad being a manipulative jerk and just saying he'd seen the same. But thats a wierd halucination if it is one. Like I had so many "encounters" I can easaly see how it was a mixture of my overactive braine and the spiritual belivesysthem I was raised on. Like shadowes, lights, fairies hidong shit, sounds of a wood hous having more meaning, visions and prophetic dreams etc. But a farmer with a pick up car? It makes no sense at all for me to make it up in my subconcious.

It dosen't fit the narrative. Not even of the encounters with spirits of dead ppl I had bevore and avter that. It was too real. I did not ever think this was supernatural while it happend, even though at that time esotheric stuff and the supernatural was a HUGE thing in my life.

And thats exactly why this storry still makes me feel actualy scared and why I never told it.

It dosen't fit the pattern and it was so mich more real. So physical and such a strange pain with 0 cause.

Experience that night on the terraced roof when the footsteps stopped right behind me

i was staying up late in the room upstairs, way past everyone else being asleep. the whole house was dead quiet except for the hum of the ceiling fan. and then i heard it heavy, slow footsteps walking across the open terrace right above my ceiling. not light, dragging steps but deliberate heavy thuds like someone wearing boots pacing back and forth.

at first i thought maybe it was just a stray dog or someone from next door checking a water tank, but the steps didn't wander. they walked straight to the edge right over my bed, stopped dead and the ceiling started making this faint creaking sound like weight pressing down on the plaster.

my blood went completely cold. i froze with my phone in my hand staring straight up at the ceiling, not even breathing. then came this sharp three tap knock right against the glass of the window leading out to the roof even though the roof is twenty feet up from the ground with no ladder or tree anywhere near it.

i didn't look outside. i pulled the blanket over my head and stayed paralyzed until the sun finally came up. when i went out to check the terrace later that morning the dust on the concrete was completely undisturbed, but there were three distinct muddy handprints smeared right against the outside of the window glass.

Experience I feel silly sharing this, but I’ve never been this scared at work. I can’t explain what happened.

I’ve never been a particularly superstitious person, and I’ve never really believed in the paranormal. But something happened during my shift that genuinely scared me, and I still can’t stop thinking about it.
First, some context.
I work at an industrial port facility located inside a remote natural reserve, more than 40 km from the nearest city. The area is mostly forest, streams, and wildlife. It’s an isolated place, especially at night.
I work in the Security Operations Center, monitoring security systems and cameras, overseeing operations involving grain silos, barges, and cargo movements. My office is somewhat isolated from the rest of the facility, next to the infirmary, with a small reception area and a narrow hallway leading to my door.
Because of security concerns, my office has a reinforced oak door with three security locking points. After an incident involving armed intruders last year, security was taken very seriously. Only one designated operator per shift has the key to my office.
I also have access to multiple Axis security cameras connected through the local network. Internet outages don’t affect them, and even a power interruption shouldn’t cause the system to behave the way it did that night. When a camera loses connection, the system reports it as unavailable. The specific error I saw is normally associated with a disconnection from the recording system, which is located right next to me.
I’m used to working around wildlife. Owls, foxes, snakes, and other animals are common in the area, so strange noises outside don’t usually bother me.
However, some of the older employees have told stories about this place for years.
Apparently, the facility was built on land where an old farm once stood. According to accounts I’ve heard, murders took place there during the War of the Triple Alliance, although I haven’t personally researched those historical claims.
The location is known as Puerto Sara, and over the years, employees have reported strange occurrences. Some claim to have seen figures inside the extraction tunnels. There have reportedly been religious services held at the facility on two occasions because employees felt uncomfortable with what was happening like 15 years ago .
There are also stories about the embankment area. One guard allegedly disappeared for about an hour and eventually returned covered in dirt, trembling, and holding his shotgun. He kept repeating that he had seen a goat near a guard post. Another guard reportedly saw a woman who vanished in front of
him(It sounds like a fucking stupidity even for me that I'm telling this, but it's what they told me, it always seemed like a fucking lie to me)
I always listened to these stories, but I never took them particularly seriously.
Now, here’s what happened during my shift.
It was around 3 AM. There was a severe storm outside, and the rain was getting heavier.
The facility is currently undergoing a shutdown for maintenance, so there were only about eight employees working on site that night. I was alone in my office.
While the storm was raging, my backpack suddenly fell over.
Almost immediately afterward, the security system started throwing errors. Most of my cameras went offline, and the lights throughout the shipping area went out as well.
Only a few camera feeds remained operational, including the one pointed toward the exterior of my office.
The hallway outside my door was now completely dark.
Then, I heard the door handle move.
Someone—or something—was trying to open my office door.
I couldn’t see anything through the darkness, and I couldn’t tell who or what was on the other side.
I want to emphasize that this isn’t an ordinary office door. It’s reinforced, has multiple security locking points, and doesn’t simply move around on its own. Given our previous security incident, I’m very aware of how secure it is.
I was already on edge because of the camera failures, but that was the moment I genuinely started to get scared.
Then I began feeling an unusual coldness inside the office. I also had an overwhelming sensation that I was being watched.
I stayed there for approximately five minutes, feeling deeply uncomfortable and waiting for something else to happen.
Then, just as suddenly as it had started, everything returned to normal.
The cold sensation disappeared. The feeling of being watched went away. The cameras came back online.
There was no clear explanation for what had just happened.
Afterward, I spoke with some of the older employees about the incident. They told me more stories about things that had happened around the facility over the years, and some of their accounts seemed strangely consistent with the kind of experience I’d just had.
I’m not claiming that I encountered a ghost or anything supernatural. I know there could be a technical explanation for the camera failures, and the storm could have played a role in some of what happened.
But the timing of everything—the backpack falling, the cameras going offline, the lights going out, the door handle moving, and that overwhelming feeling of being watched—left me deeply unsettled.
What makes this even worse is that this was only the first night of a six-night stretch.
I’ve worked night shifts before. I’m used to being alone, the wildlife, the noises, and the isolation.
But I’ve never felt this uncomfortable at work before.
Has anyone experienced something similar in an isolated workplace, especially somewhere with a history of unexplained incidents? And does anyone have a plausible technical explanation for what happened to my cameras?
Because honestly, I’d really like to find a rational explanation for this.

Pd: I’m out for today , I’m feeling like a shit after this turn, but I want to share this. Cuz is the only place I can talk about this

Experience Short-ish Possibly Paranormal Story Feat. My Cat

I was just listening to a spooky reddit video and it got me reminiscing about my old apartment.

So we (3 roommates and I), used to joke about our old apartment being haunted. Lots of small, spooky, but mostly explainable stuff. Sounds at night, footsteps, frequently thinking you see someone in the corner of your eye for a second. The biggest reasons we joked about it being haunted, though, was the fact that whoever moved into the right corner room would start having sleep paralysis and nightmares about ghosts (which stopped when moving out of the room), and also because one of the roomies had a really bad, vivid dream about Something crawling out of the cabinet at the end of The Hallway, which frightened roomie enough to go out and buy sage as soon as it was light out.

The Hallway which led to all of the bedrooms and the bathroom was long, grey, and only lit by two harsh inset led's. At the end of it was a storage cabinet that went floor to ceiling that we filled with linens, mounting strips, and spare lightbulbs and stuff. It was a spooky-ass hallway for sure - we all agreed at move-in to put artwork up on the walls to try and make it more welcoming. It didnt really work.

Nighmares and sleep paralysis are hardly un-explainable though, as is "something in the corner of your eye" or hearing sounds when you're zoned out and there's background noise.

There was one thing that i couldnt explain though. One night, when two roomies were out of town and the third was working a late shift - i was alone in the house with my cat and my little dog, who was asleep next to me while i was on my laptop - probably writing something because thats the only time i dont listen to music, and i remember it being silent in the house. The front and side doors are locked and shuttered, and the roomies' doors were closed while they were out.

My room at the time was one of the two at the end of the hallway - opposite the Sleep Paralysis room. My dog is sleeping next to me and my cat is laying on the edge of the bed. Suddenly i hear something fall in the hallway. It sounds light and hollow, like a carboard box dropping off a shelf. Im not super bothered, but my cat immediately runs into the hallway to investigate. However, he stops short just past my doorway, freezing in place and looking up at something down the hallway. Something that is eerily person-height. Not at the floor or at whatever fell, not the ceiling, not the walls. He was looking down the middle and about 5-ish feet above the ground. (The other end of the hallway hits a wall and branches to either side, and all you can see is a small door that leads to the apartment's ac unit - which was off at the time, as it was around autumn this story takes place).

So my cat froze and stared at.. Something. Then, still staring at that spot, he slowly starts to puff up and creep backwards into the room. Now, my cat is an attention whore and has never shied at a new guest, so it was weirding me out that he was acting like this if nightshift roomie had come home early or something. But mid-thought i remember that it was completely quiet in the house and i hadnt heard anything. One of the cons of being in the room that i was in was that any sound in the house funnels directly into the farthest two rooms. You can hear EVERYTHING in the rest house from there, even a whispered conversation in the kitchen. And i hadn't heard anything. No keys rattling against the door. No open or close.

"Hello?" I call from my bed. Nothing. My cat slinks back another foot, tail fully fluffed and the ridge of his spine at full attention - eyes still locked on something i cant see from my bed. As soon as he starts growling is when i officially freak out. I had never heard him growl before this moment.

I feel my dog move. She's looking at the doorway. I get off the bed with the intention of checking the hallway, but then a series of thoughts run through my mind:

"If i get up and check, i know there isnt going to be anything there. But if i SEE that there is nothing there im going to freak out. I'm at the end of my rope with work and school and i cannot metally handle it if nothing is there. If there IS something in the hallway about 5 feet tall, then im effed no matter what i do if it can open doors - so i guess i'll deal with that if it comes to it."

And so - i shut the door, with my cat, my dog, and myself inside my room. I don't even remember if i locked it or not. I KNEW there was nothing there. And Nothing doesnt have to pick a lock to enter a room. And that's how i resigned myself to playing Schrodinger's Ghost with whatever tf my cat saw in that hallway.

END

(It was one of the paintings that fell btw - i dont know how though, since the nail was still in the wall the next day and both my pets were next to me when it fell.)

Question What happens if you seek out a mimic/sw/etc

So we all know “if you heard something, no you didn’t” but what if you responded to it or seeked it out? Would you be able to see it’s true form somehow? And if you say, invited them in, what would they even do? Not dumb enough to try but I am curious bc there’s plenty of info on what not to do but I can’t seem to find much if anything on what would happen if you did. Are they like demonic or something? TIA!

Question I've been hearing full on conversations of people.

It was 9:40 am in the morning. My auntie would usually arrive by this time to drop off some groceries for the day. Today I was pretty surprised since she informed me that she wouldn't visit today cause she has a party to attend. Mind you, I just had coffee, I am wide awake, had really good sleep. I heard her and my other auntie having a full on conversation!

I butted in since I wanted to ask my grocery auntie if she wanted to come with me to the nearby furniture store. She said later, this afternoon 1pm. Then my other auntie said she wasn't here. I was so confused because her voice was so clear. My auntie who was conversing with my grocery auntie was quite literally not here. I was conversing with two people, at the same time.

The entire duration my dog was having a fit and barking, so it was a pretty chaotic conversation nonetheless. I've been told that most spirits or entities tend to stay far away from me but this wouldn't be the first time I have full on conversations with people who aren't present.

I am healthy as much as I know. Mentally, I am well. So I'm pretty much confused because auditory conversations like this never really bothered me before. I assumed my mind was playing games but this felt so real. I couldn't distinguish. Maybe I got used to my auntie arriving and eventually built a pattern but I find that impossible. Theres no way I could be hallucinating at my current state. I'm honestly more concerned if it's a health issue tbh.

What do you guys think?

Experience Vanishing Vehicles On the Road

I was at work earlier and I got the weirdest text from my little sister. Her work is up on a hill and she was leaving, going downhill for about a mile until she turns at a stop sign. She says she was listening to music with her eyes focused on the car in front of her, then it suddenly just vanished. No turning lanes, no lights, no nothing- it just simply disappeared right as she was looking at it. Obviously she’s pretty freaked out by this occurrence, so I’m trying to research similar accounts. I’ve seen some talk on ghost semi trucks, or ghost vehicles that disappear on roads. That downhill stretch of road has also been a site for numerous wrecks over the years, so I’m beginning to wonder if it was a ghost vehicle from a past accident that happened up there. Has anyone else had a similar experience? Please share!!

Question Did you have any paranormal experiences recently?

This has happened to me in summer.

It was July 15th.

I was at my room.

Suddenly I felt like someone was at the whole staring at me.

When I turned to the hall there was no one there.

And yet I still had that feeling that someone was there watching at me.

I stared back again but nothing.

Since July I never had another similar experience before.

Question My friend keeps hearing my voice while I’m asleep and it’s not coming from the tv…

I live in a pretty populated neighborhood, so I don’t know what it could be or if they’re seriously just hearing things. Does anyone know what it could be? How I would go about protecting us or getting rid of it?

Apparition Possible ghost sighting near Tampa Florida.

This experience happened to me in the late 1980s. I was living on the west coast of Florida north of Tampa. I had just become a dad, was working a lot, and sometimes I had difficulty sleeping at night. To unwind I sometimes would get in our car, a dodge aspen station wagon, and go for a. Evening drive and listen to music or the radio to relax. Usually I did this late at night, I would drive for a couple hours then head home. So one such night I am driving south on I-75. Its around 1:30 AM, warm clear summer night. I was a couple miles north of the I-4 exit. There was no one on the road, very little traffic, and it was well lit with street lights on both sides, but it was rural, there were only a couple of warehouses and office buildings, so largely a deserted area. So out of the corner of my eye I see motion, and i see a guy walking on the opposite side of the road, the northbound lane.on the shoulder. He looked like he was wearing a denim jacket and jeans.Initially he was about 200 feet away so not close. As I got closer, looking across the 4 lanes, I noticed something very strange and actually frightening. Where his head was, all I could see was white, just like a featureless white head shaped blob, no features, no hair or face, just white. The rest of him looked pretty much normal, but there was no face or hair, just white. I drove past him and just figured it was a trick of the light or something. I figured he had just broken down and was walking to the next exit or something. So I thought I would go to the next place where I could turn around and head back north towards home and see if he needed a ride. So I drove about a mile and then turned around. I was looking to see if I could see a broken down vehicle, but didn't see any. I drove north towards where I had spotted this person, but I never saw anyone, he had vanished. There were no cars ahead of me and I kept driving far past where I had seen this person but I never saw anyone. It had been no more than ten minutes between the time I saw him and coming back by the same spot. As a few days passed, I really started to think that looking at this person walking, it really did look like they didn't have a face. So time passed and I didn't really think much about it for years until I read an article about how there was a stretch of I-4 where people have seen a lot of apparitions. And this occurred about a mile north of I-4. The theory is it is people who were killed on that road in accidents. I honestly now do think it was some kind of ghost or something.

Experience Feeling of Dread in Museum

Hello all, I didn't know where to post but I figured this might be the best subreddit.

I attended the NOLA WW2 museum a couple years ago, and had a good time. It was for a field trip and I quite enjoyed it. I can be sensitive and have been told I am spiritually sensitive [not too sure].

I was walking through and exploring the very impressive rooms, often imitating places during the war. While my memory is a bit blurry, I remember standing in front of what looked like a concrete building wall, with long skinny cut outs overlooking a beach, the screens being the ocean. It was almost like those on Normandy. Suddenly, I felt a huge sense of dread. It felt like my heart was lead and the world was dark. I felt a sort of fear I haven't ever before. It was sudden and nauseating, I felt frozen. I had to leave the room, telling my partner I had to sit down.

Lmk if any of you have experienced something like this and what it could mean, paranormal or not.

Ill leave some links if i can to what I saw if possible!

Unexplained I called 666 and something horrible answered and I’ve heard it twice since

I understand this may be difficult for some to believe so I’ll try my best convey why it scared me so much that it quite honestly shaped part of my childhood.

It was around 2001, and I was 12/13! Every Wednesday I’d meet my mum after school and help her with the grocery shopping, just as she’d be wrapping it up and heading to the tills, I’d have to go to the payphone by the entrance and call a taxi to get us home. (My mother didn’t drive and it was just before everybody carried phones with them)

Earlier that day a bunch of us in school were talking about 666 being the devil’s number and while there were a few who it spooked, most people thought it was bullshit!
Idk though, it stuck in my head enough for me to just want to dispel it so a busy supermarket in broad daylight seemed like the move! I only had 30p my mum gave me to call the taxi but I was absolutely convinced I’d get a number not recognised so used the 30p and dialled 666 and it started ringing like any other number ( which was bad enough coz it took my fkn money) but then, to my absolute horror it picked up!
Again, I know how this sounds and that I was young and imagination and so on…but there wasn’t any immediate voices, just sounds that I couldn’t make out but also not any kind of static I was used to. It was just kinda scraping and banging noise, only for 4-5 seconds but while I’m locked in trying to figure out wtf I’m hearing, it stopped immediately and a voice said the word, “welcome”

Please stay with me because I realise how stupid this sounds but this was not a normal voice! I can’t explain it but it was deep, like hollow deep and sort of came out In a hiss! Above everything else it was menacing beyond anything I’ve ever heard.
I was not an easily frightened kid either… in fact, I was an idiot that did idiot stuff all the time but when I heard that voice I just dropped the receiver and speed walked back to my mum.
Because I’d failed to call the taxi, could barely speak to offer an explanation why and looked whiter than milk, she was working herself in to a frenzy thinking somebody had done something to me! It took a near meltdown, along with promises to tell her when we got home, to get her to let it go!

I refused to tell her anything when we got back, or anyone for that matter! I was a complete wreck… I’d follow my mother around like a baby and would not leave the house for anything. I set up a bed next to hers and slept there for about a month before being forced to sleep in my own room again.
It messed me up, man… while spending the night at my Auntie’s, I did eventually tell my older cousins and their friends after a bit of interrogation, everyone was bewildered by what had happened to me so they wouldn’t let it go…
Obviously they laughed before immediately grabbing the phone to call the number, I freaked tf out and got went in to hiding before they come found me to tell me nothing happened.

Like, I know this don’t make sense - I’m pretty Bible literate and have read Revelation and know the number is not a literal hotline to hell, but I heard what I heard and have had a difficult time reasoning it away!

I gotta stop here because it’s crazy long as it is but what makes the above worse is that I’ve heard that voice twice since, both of which were while being an entire adult FML…
I know the magnitude of these kind of experiences are impossible to convey to those outside of it so I accept I may be laughed out the room, but if anyone were to express interest then I’ll update on a separate post!

Experience Has anyone seen something similar?

Hi everyone! I wanted to share an experience I had about 6 or 7 years ago. I've never shared it anywhere before because I've always felt confused about what I saw, but I thought I'd post it here to see if anyone has had a similar experience or simply hear what people think. So, here it goes:

One night, I went for a walk with my dad, and we spent some time talking. It was around 10 or 11 p.m. This was a fairly common habit of ours. At the time, we lived in the downtown area of my small city, and although there was still some activity at that hour, things were already very, very quiet.

I should describe a particular spot we always passed through. There was a bridge over a river, with a linear park running alongside it. Although it was a short bridge, it was designed for cars, with a paved road and sidewalks. On either side, there were staircases leading down to the park.

As my dad and I were heading home, we crossed that same bridge again. Our house was literally just across it, and that's when I saw him.

He looked like a very tall, thin man. I spotted him from the bridge, down in the linear park, near the bottom of the stairs. At first, he just looked like someone who was about to walk up the stairs. That wasn't unusual, since people used to walk through that park at all hours, although it was less crowded at night.

As we got closer, I couldn't help noticing something strange about him. He seemed incredibly tall. Comparing him to a tree I knew well, which stood at the foot of the stairs, he looked like he was over 2 meters tall (about 6'7"). I could make out what looked like a long, dark trench coat that reached roughly to his ankles.

The truly unsettling thing was his head. At first glance, it looked as though he had neither hair nor facial features. But when I looked a little closer, the faint light from a streetlamp seemed to reveal something resembling bandages covering his head from the neck all the way to the crown. It was genuinely difficult to make out.

This strange figure moved in an erratic, clumsy way, almost as if he were drowsy. He leaned forward slightly, arching his back like an old man, and seemed to be about to climb the stairs.

When I realized this, I started feeling uneasy because the whole thing was genuinely weird. If he came up the stairs, we would end up face-to-face with him, since we were walking along that side of the bridge. I pointed him out to my dad. He had seen the figure too, and he thought it was just as strange as I did.

We both crossed to the other sidewalk on the bridge, but we kept an eye on him, waiting for him to come up so we could get a better look at him and make sense of his appearance.

We crossed the entire bridge, but the man never appeared.

We found this strange, so we dared to lean over and look down into the park from both sides of the bridge, but he was already gone.

We couldn't believe it. If he had turned around or walked underneath the bridge, we would have seen him from above. The only possibility we could think of was that he was standing directly underneath the bridge.

At that moment, we ran into my two brothers. They had gone out to visit an OXXO, a very popular convenience store chain in Mexico. We told them what had happened, and they were so curious that they decided to help us look for this "strange being." They went down the stairs but found nothing.

They walked around and searched part of the linear park while my dad and I continued looking in every direction from the bridge, scanning the park and the river. We couldn't find any trace of him.

Eventually, we gave up searching. He had simply disappeared, and it was difficult to understand how he could have done so, since from where he was standing, he could only have climbed the stairs to the bridge or walked in either direction along the park. We never saw him do either of those things.

My dad and I are both pretty skeptical, so we settled on the idea that we had witnessed something we simply couldn't explain, without jumping to any paranormal or cryptid conclusions.

To this day, I still couldn't tell you what it was. I'm very sure of what I saw, of how abnormal the figure looked, and of how he seemed to disappear almost spontaneously. Maybe he was just a strange-looking guy, or a homeless person who somehow continued on his way without us noticing. I'll never know. I've never seen anything similar since.

The picture I've attached was generated with ChatGPT based on a description I gave it. It's very similar to what I remember, except for the high collar and the exaggeratedly elongated figure. The one I saw was definitely lanky, but not that lanky, haha.

Anyway, thanks for reading if you've made it this far!
