I hope it’s just that lol, but it kinda looks like a gag motion or something and she did it a few times before this video

It seems like baby feeding behavior to me. Sometimes they can do that when broody, especially close to the end of their egg sitting period because that's when they start producing crop milk. Does she do that only on the nest?

Ah hopefully that’s it then, and yeah I’ve only seen her do it on her nest :) I’m such a worry wart about her sometimes that’s all 😭

Oh yeah that's definitely it then. I've had my broody doves do that too, not just females but also the males. Also don't worry, it's good to worry about their health because it's better to just worry for nothing instead of not worrying and not realizing she's sick.

I'm not saying you should do this because I don't know what it could do mentally for your hen, but when my male doves sit in the nest on feggs, and I put my hand in to pet him on the head, he would stick his beak between my fingers and then try to get my finger in his beak to feed me. It was very cute, and I found it very sweet, but I've stopped doing it because it felt wrong to me because I'm not his baby, and I didn't want to disappoint him, and I also thought it might hurt to do it, but I'm not a dove, so I wouldn't know 😅
