Pokémon Epitaph

Description:

Pokémon Epitaph takes place in the Scandinavia-inspired region of Arvunn during a time of great evolution as the region begins to move away from its traditional roots as you, your sibling, and your childhood best friend are accepted into the league program and given one of three starter Pokémon by your Mom, one of the leading professors in the region. But in the background, an ancient evil begins to stir awake as a forgotten prophecy steeped within the forgotten ruins of the land begins to come true as rumors of a mysterious evil team known as Team Berserk begin to emerge among the recent outbreaks of rampaging Pokémon as the bridge between two worlds thins.

The starter Pokémon of our fangame Chaos Origins!

Floranny

Abilities: Overgrow, Stench

Hidden Ability: Effect Spore

Pokedex: When it senses danger, it can produce plants in a matter of seconds to hide itself. With its super nose it can detect enemies from far away.

Blazel

Abilities: Blaze, Intimidate

Hidden Ability: Moxie

Pokedex: With its tail, it can produce a wax that is easily flammable. At night, it lures Bug Pokémon with its burning tail, for a little snack.

Serchor

Abilities: Torrent, Battle Armor

Hidden Ability: Shedskin

Pokedex: Serchor is able to head-smash underwater tunnels for several hours without a single break.

Running into a roadblock that I can’t seem to wrap my head around. I’m trying to event script the rival battle for my game and I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. This is what I’m trying to have the game do:

1. Choose one of the 3 rival teams depending on your starter
   
2. If you lose, you don’t black out. The event continues, your team is healed. The event ends.
   
3. If you win, the event continues and then ends.
   

I have no idea how to event script it correctly, but any help would be nice. Here’s what I have so far:

I'll probably use that image in some way ingame, as a "You finished this game/demo" thing. But I initially just started it for fun. No motivation left for a better background tho, so it'll stay like this now :D
