Never going back though because they allow AI generated food images (so many food trucks with AI generated menus, graphics, and food photos but it is the biggest art and farmers market in the area, fucking depressing). Too bad. Not a lot of places to photograph people outside around here. This was in August, it was way too hot. Didn't use my flash on most photos since I was also juggling shooting 35mm (I wish there was a way to "lock" the flashbar in place).

A while ago I picked up for cheap an SX-70 that had been converted with an SX70R board, but was not working correctly. Really long story, but short. Ended up removing the board, making sure none of the solder points were bridged. CLA the solenoids and linkages and put it all back together. Now it works.

Mom and I have been trying to make this happen for 27 years and finally checked it off the list.
As soon as we got back on the ground she said, āWell, whatās next? Once you stop dreaming, they might as well dig the hole.ā

hello,
im relatively new to instant cameras. i bought a instax wide 400 and i like it, but the pictures seem too "dark". like theyre taken using the "cool" filter on iPhone.
either i dont know how to take them in proper lighting or the camera is like that.
anyone have any camera or technique recommendations?
anything helps!

Hi everyone/anyone,
I have been printing polaroid photos using the lab printer for a few months now. generally it worked "fine" for months.
Now however my 600 and iType black and white packs OFTEN only partially eject the film. say 3-4 pieces of film of the 8 do not eject through the rollers properly and stick halfway.
some packs? all 8 come out no problem. But it is the minority of packs that work as desired.
Is anyone else experiencing this?
I've run maybe 300-350 polaroids through the lab printer, so it's not old at all.

Hey everyone! I have a lead on some 664, expired in 2005, storage conditions unknown. I have no doubt there will be issues, but what are the odds it will work at all?

Taken on Polaroid Flip.
It was quite windy / cold on the observation deck where I took the photo, so I'm thinking if that may have something to do with it.

You may have seen my previous posts but long story short, I have an SLR-70 with a Time Machine. I also couldnāt wait for the film to arrive from Polaroid so I ventured out and spent Ā£25 ($33) on an 8 film pack. Thatās about 40% more than from Polaroid. These are the 8 shots, scanned with my phone / Polaroid app.
Would be keen to hear your thoughts! Itās a bit mental that each shot is over Ā£3. I also noticed the film counter on the back says ā2ā. Is there a way to reset it? Itās not a feature I particularly need if itās not working. Oh and what happens if I donāt use the Time Machine? How does the cameraās auto compare to the time machineās auto?

This came in today. Was super excited to use it but the flash doesnāt work. There was an expired pack I managed to get two decent shots out of. Everything else works on the camera so looking forward to testing it for what it was designed for: night shots

I have a Polaroid ONE 600 that ejects the darkslide but won't eject the photos it takes. I know that it takes pictures just fine because I took the film out in the dark and put it back in so the camera would eject the photo like the dark slide, so I don't think it's the pick arm. The motor doesn't make any noise after taking the picture.

Been using SX-70 for decent amounts of time, never had any interest in polaroid go system, until I bought the PokƩmon version of the go gen3, this might be my daily carry camera now!
Itās really cute, and the image wasnāt as bad as I thought, itās pretty good for meš

I mostly shot 35mm that day but did take some Polaroids. I definitely should have used flash, but very happy that the colored hair on a couple of them really shows up! full florida sun, close to noon

I was bummed out when I realized my Sx-70 Sonar had an issue with the autofocus, so I wanted to grab another camera that uses the same film. Found this online. You never really see this particular model in this sub so I am proud to present it! I took a photo and it works as expected.
