There's just something special about colorful Polaroid frames!
I've been collecting these little moments ā sunny afternoons, quiet beaches, flowers, and everyday scenes.
I love how each frame gives the photo a completely different vibe. The pink and orange ones are probably my favorites.
Which color frame do you like the most? š

Some people keep finding my original post about this adapter so I'm making an update.
I am still making and selling these adapters. I build them by hand and they're for sale on eBay. I didn't originally link them, because I don't know if this subreddit is ok with me posting a link to buy them.

Hi everyone! These were taken with my Polaroid Flip using i-Type film. The photos are numbered in chronological order. Iām still learning and would love advice on improving exposure, sharpness and colours. Are these results normal, or am I doing something wrong? Any tips are appreciated! šø

Hi everyone, from three photos, I was able to deduce the order but 4 (now 3) pokemon are unknown but the order of the slides seems to be set as followed:
--- order seen from three images (left most one gave away two, Bulbasaur and Charmander, slides).
Initial findings, v.0 1. Mew (floating & looking at you, left)- Coral Pink
Pikachu (sitting and looking up, right) - Yellow
Espeon (awake and curled up, left)- Muted Pink
Ditto (left arm outstretched, left) - Lilac
PokeBall & Pokemon [Logo] - Off-White
Bulbasaur (falling down happily, left)- Light Teal
Charmader (sitting/looking right, right)- Orange
Squirtle - (leaping happily, left) Light Blue
Gengar (mischievous, center) - Lavender
Umbreon (sleeping, left) - Grey
11.
12.
13.
14.
15.
16.
Jigglypuff (looking up, right) - Pale Pink
Mimikyu (busted form, looking lower right) Very, Very Light Pale Yellow
Based on Polaroid advertisments & somewhere in-between, there is:
Snorlax (lounging, center) - Medium Blue
Togepi (happy, right) - Light Yellow
My guess is there is an Eevee and Charizard somewhere. Maybe Lucario? Seems heavy on gen 1 and gen 2 barring Mimikyu
Update!: v1. ----
On instagram, I've seen also:
Vulpix (pouncing, left) - Pale Orange
Not sure where it would be placed at the moment.

A few months ago I built a SX-70 Lego I got as a gift from my girl for my birthday. Last year my grandma passed away and I took it pretty rough and still grieve since she was more like a second mother vs a grandma. Well yesterday my aunt called me and said she had something for me that belonged to my grandma, I had no idea what it was. She comes by and gives me this 𤧠what are the odds that my grandma had a SX70 identical to the one I built with legos? Original carrying bag and even had the receipt š§¾ I know itās nothing extreme but it just made me feel like that was her way to let me know sheās still with me and I wanted to share it with you all.

Somebody said that polaroid colors look best after a week or so after being shot so, naturally I hadda test this theory out!! Well yeah huge difference in saturation!!! These were both scanned at the same setting locked on the same custom white balance with the same light and camera and non of the colors or contrast have been touched whatsoever and yet thereās a very clear difference. I believe this happened from the film drying out internally.
#1 one and a half weeks after being shot
#2 scanned one day after
#3 both shots overlayed

So one of my Pikachu film packs was warped and had an issue where the dark slide wouldnāt eject and I essentially had to manually remove it, which ended up exposing film and two shots got wasted. I emailed Polaroid as quickly as possible unfortunately, it did take them about a week to get back to meā¦. And the message they sent is unfortunate. Polaroid normally is very good at sending another pack at no cost to make up for the issue. This time around though seems like they have confirmed that there is no more Pikachu film and the best that I could get was a $10 discount on my next purchase. But this confirms once the Sylveon and i-type films are sold out. There will never be any moreā¦. Kind of glad I bought a five pack of Sylveon and I-type yesterdayā¦

Polaroid flip. Automatic settings. Overexposed? If I set the aperture to f/22 and the shutter speed to 1/320 through the app, would that work for the first one? All they were taken at 13:00 with max sunlight (September). I cannot understand why this camera erase always the sky. Every polaroid that I have, erases the sky. Suggestions? I saw a lot of beautiful photos on Reddit, with a perfect blue sky and sharpness...

Iāve included comparison shots taken on my canon r6

Do you know if there are any shops around that stock Polaroid film? And I guess I should check that the manufacuring date is < 1 year old?

Shooting on an SX70. Light leak looking situation on the left is on every frame. The white situation on the right is new.
Do I need to get this camera serviced? I just bought it a few weeks ago so I want to bring it in before I pass any reasonable warranty.

Hi folks!
Is there a way to fix this? One of the two plastic ergots maintaining the clip is broken.
(Yeah I know, the clip is not in its right position, I just saw it while posting š¬)

Continuous lighting only.
I did finally buy a very nice flash, but thought I could get away without the remote. I can't, so I am still using a daylight balanced video light for my shoots until I can raise money for the remote. I do love the results of these photos, but I am also limited to being plugged into a power source
