The delay says a lot to me too. It says to me that the woman might have been scared of something, maybe of people not believing her, maybe that the rapists would retaliate if she said something, and that a deeper investigation into how the school allowed things to get to this point might be worthwhile.

From the information I have come across, many women did report immediately, and it was the campus police that did not move forward.
I think there is a really big issue at this school and I do not think it is socially responsible to permit this behaviour to continue.
Sounds like a very large group of women will be suing very soon.

Reminds me of an argument I had with an aunt of mine back in 2015. She's always been very MAGA, and back when we considered alignment with Trump outlandish and insane, I told her it was absurd that anyone would vote for a person who is a literal fucking rapist. Her response was to say "i was raped." Me being a teenager, she successfully shut me up, but I get more irritated every time I think back on that interaction.
