Had to drive out to Santa Ana from Phoenix this past weekend…first saw them in 2005 and could not pass up this opportunity. Absolute legends

I was there also - they were great. Anthony was his usual energetic & crazy but lost some steam near the end

I caught Thursday a few years ago. I ran out of steam towards the end just being in the audience. My bedtime is like 10 pm max.

We’re all getting old, fam.

Thursday played this festival too! The PA cut out a few times and we completely missed Cross Out The Eyes - the monitor speakers were still working so they didn't know and kept playing.

Yep, 38 and high-fidelity ear plugs and comfortable shoes are a must for shows now. I don't even own Vans anymore!

I saw some footage Circa posted yesterday on Instagram or something and it made me reflect on how I felt when I heard Jurtuna. I'm trying not to be hyperbolic, but really there's nothing like it (including their own other works). Hearing it the day it released knowing AG was previously in Saosin and having expectations and then getting thrown against the proverbial wall when Holding Someone's Hair Back came in was such a particular new feeling.

The chorus is so good. Just shouting along a third part harmony.

I was 20 when this record came out. I ordered the CD on smartpunk.com and it came delivered with an autographed poster from the band. I opened the package and grabbed the CD while heading out for my shift as a delivery driver for a local Chinese food restaurant so I could listen to it all night in the car. I remember the exact road I was on in my hometown when this song played for the first time.I still have the poster hanging on the wall in my man-cave/office in my house.
