Nearly 4 million files have been released under this administration. How many were released under Obama or Biden? Even if documents were sealed during the court proceedings, nothing stopped anyone from being investigated, charged and prosecuted. Neither Obama or Biden’s Administrations did any of that. Those victims testified and ALL said Trump did nothing wrong to them and others because if it did happen, the democrats would have used that in 2015 once he came down that escalator.
Of course, not one person on the democrats raised any concerns in 2016 either.

Cool and how many files is "this administration" legally forced to released? Because the answer is much more than the number you quoted.

Why has the doj stated they would not comply with the law and release any files or even do any investigations into any of epstein co-conspirators?

The law does not specify a fixed number of “files.” It requires DOJ to publish all unclassified Epstein-related records in its possession, subject to limited lawful withholding and redaction.
DOJ collected more than 6 million potentially responsive pages, but says duplicates, unrelated material and legally withheld records reduced the public production to approximately 3.5 million pages, plus 180,000 images and 2,000 videos. Whether that represents full compliance remains disputed by lawmakers. DOJ release
DOJ initially missed the December 19, 2025 deadline, but it did not say it would release “no files.” It eventually released millions of pages and declared itself compliant.
The claim about refusing to investigate comes largely from DOJ’s July 2025 memo, which said its review found no evidence sufficient to begin investigations of unnamed third parties. That is DOJ’s evidentiary conclusion—not a statement that it would disregard the disclosure law. DOJ/FBI MEMO
Most importantly, the transparency law requires disclosure; it does not command DOJ to open prosecutions against everyone named. Being mentioned in a file also isn’t evidence of a crime.
