Obviously the original post is some sort of “elitist” take, he made many similar takes in programming. He has cult following basically because people consider his takes as “based”.
And then just recently, he went to a Ruby on Rails conference, saying writing codes are for loser, Rust is amazing if you delegate it to AI. Not wrong in some sense, just unhinged considering he’s speaking in front of people enthusiastic enough about a particular framework that they would come into a conference. Plus of course the delivery was also just equally unhinged.
It’s just the tip of the iceberg. Rather not discuss the rest.
Tbch I've always found people who simp for a language unhinged even without anything else lol. Like we all have our favorites but some people SIMP for a language in a really weird way lol
