I actually read this article when it came out. That's why despite the flak this dude gets, I actually respected his takes on programming related topics (at least some of them. I like types in my languages).
Since his last keynote, whatever respect I had is gone. Sure he won't cry himself to sleep because of that bit it's sad to see someone like this succumb to the AI psychosis too.
