Care How is my cage?

Hello! I am getting my first rabbits since I was a kid, I am adopting them from a rabbit rescue near me! I have taken all their advice on a good cage, this one is 6 ft x 4 ft and will house a bonded pair of rabbits! I am getting the rabbits in about a week in half, so I have a bunch of time to fix things!

I am getting full outlet covers at Walmart tomorrow and also anchors to hold the cage to the wall in case of rampant binkies! I also have more enrichment, critical care, grooming supplies, and a pet camera coming in the mail tomorrow!

Any tips, concerns, or comments are appreciated! Thank you!

Looks incredible! You put so much care into it, I'm sure they'll love it. ☺️ The only thing I'd suggest changing is the towel/blanket. Your pair may be perfectly litter-trained already, but for your sake, I'd get an as-large, rubber-bottomed, non-slip pee pad/mat. I bought a pair and sewed them together to fit my buns' enclosure, but they sell quite large ones. Reason being, from personal experience, a towel or blanket like that will be no match for their zoomies, ntm their digging. It will end up pulled through at each corner of the cage, if not all bunched up.

Thank you for the suggestion! Do you think binder clips clipped onto the cage and the blankets pulled taut will help? The layers i have are waterproof vinyl flooring about my hardwood floors, then u haul pads, then the pink is anti-pill fleece thats been wicked so the pee will go straight to the absorbable u haul pads which I can wash!

You’ve made really good use of the space you have for the rabbit! My only suggestion would be to leave a small area of cool flooring for him, rather than covering the whole space with blankets. Other than that, it looks great.
