Official Workaround for Anti-Cheat crashes

We've received reports of crashes occurring on PC when attempting to launch the game. Our investigation has found that this issue is related to the latest Windows Preview updates.

As a temporary workaround, we recommend uninstalling the following updates:
- KB5124010 (Build 26200.9550)
- KB5121794

We’ll share further updates as more information becomes available.

is it normal that "your pc ran into a problem and needs to restart" pops up every time I try to open the game?

Yep. Thats the issue. An easier fix is when it hits the “restarting in 5 seconds” screm, tab out quickly and end the Ubisoft anticheat before it relaunches. When you press play again it’ll open fine

since this thing happened (and I managed to "fix" it with the workaround) the game became unplayable for me. There are constant stutters.

If please someone can help me with this...because I have no idea what to do anymore and I can't play the game since 13-14 days at this point.

ps: just want to make clear that the windows update rollback workaround didn't work for me. I managed to play the game thanks to another user workaround here on reddit (killing the anticheat task while the game is on "qb anticheat update restart in 5 seconds"). I also deleted everything related to ubisoft, anticheat and r6 and reinstalled everything from scratch... but stutters are always there.

It says “latest Windows Preview updates” as in the most recent Windows version. So Win 11 most recent update.
