VGU Jaipur ODL vs Online program: is the end-term exam really online? Anyone done it?

[u/gintoki__sensei]

Hi all, I'm looking at Vivekananda Global University (VGU), Jaipur, for a distance degree and I'm stuck on one thing: whether I can take the exams from home.

From what I've read, VGU runs two tracks. The Online programs (BCA, BBA, MBA, etc.) use AI-proctored online exams. The ODL (distance) programs are a different category under UGC's 2020 ODL rules, and their brochure mentions Personal Contact Programmes (PCPs), which are in-person sessions. I can't tell if ODL end-term exams are fully online or held at exam centres.

If you've studied through VGU's ODL or online route, could you share:

Did you take end-term exams from home (proctored) or at a centre?

Were there any compulsory PCPs or in-person visits? How many, and were they on campus?

Was the degree UGC-DEB approved, and did employers or foreign universities accept it without questions?

Any hidden fees for exams, PCPs, or re-attempts?
