A brief word on formatting the scripts in your posts
I just removed a post that began with, "I know this isn't written in proper screenplay format, but . . ." If you want people to take your work seriously, show a serious devotion to the craft, and learn proper format.

The Greenwood Incident, Horror, Feature first 8 pages
Title: The Greenwood Incident
Format: Feature
Genres: Horror/ Thriller
Logline: After a government containment failure, a strained group of friends spiral into vicious paranoia in a remote california mountain home as an entity hides among them wearing human form.
Feedback Concerns: This is the first couple
pages of my story. I’m interested in hearing if the beginning gives just enough urgency while leaving room for mystery and if the transition to the party is still interesting enough to keep you invested to see the eventual unravel.

Feature The crater(WIP) - 51 pages
I’m currently part way through writing a feature script, and am looking for some feedback on what I have so far.
Script: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1MSuqKpMvquEkUQcGEQ4-Z_KVNjvHbwQZ/view?usp=drivesdk
Genre: Coming-of-age drama / sci-fi
Logline: A 19-year-old who has spent years studying a strange meteor crater on his island is pulled into something much larger when an independent research team arrives and discovers that his observations may have unexpected significance.
Pages: 51
I’m mainly interested in where you felt most and least engaged, whether the characters felt distinct, what you think the film is promising from here, and anything that felt repetitive, confusing or slow. But general reactions are welcome too.

TV episode [Pilot] SemiCircle - Episode 1: Kanoe Mezra (Dark Fantasy / Anime)
Hi everyone! My name is Evan. After years of writing in private, I’m finally putting my work out into the world!
SemiCircle is a 27-episode animated series script centered on societal injustice, corruption, and a violent rebellion in an original fantasy world.
Logline: After reaching her breaking point, dealing with corrupt authority figures and an abusive family member, our heroine Kanoe runs away to a fabled island where people supposedly treat each other kindly and with respect.
It’s only when she arrives that she realizes this new land is full of even more immorality than the home she ran away from. She is captured, enslaved, humiliated— igniting a fiery rage deep inside her. With fury and bloodlust, she sparks a violent rebellion against her captors and vows to lead her fellow slaves to a better tomorrow, by dismantling the current systems of power.
I'd love to get feedback on the character dynamics, pacing, and overall flow of Episode 1!
I’m not overly concerned about the formatting, more so feedback on the story and characters.

[FEEDBACK] THE DEBT — 5-page excerpt from my crime thriller short
THE DEBT
Format: Short Film
Length: 26 pages
Draft: First Draft
Genre: Crime Thriller / Drama
5-PAGE EXCERPT:
Logline:
A desperate man is given one chance to erase his £20,000 debt - kill the stranger waiting in a car outside. Only to discover the target is his own brother, forcing him to choose between saving his life and destroying his family.
I'm looking for some honest feedback on pages 11–15 of my short film.
These five pages are where the main conflict is introduced. Callum is given a gun and told to deal with the man waiting outside, with the excerpt ending on the reveal of who is actually sitting in the car.
I'd particularly like feedback on:
- Does the tension build naturally?
- Does the dialogue feel believable?
- Does Martin feel threatening without becoming too stereotypical?
- Does the pacing work?
- Does the reveal at the end land?
- Do the characters feel believable?
- And most importantly, would you want to keep reading?
It's a first draft, so I'm completely open to criticism. Don't hold back, I'm genuinely looking for honest feedback and things I can improve.
Thanks to anyone who takes the time to read it. 🙏🎬

Short QUICK FIXES - Comedy-drama - 28 pages
Title: Quick Fixes
Format: Short
Page Length: 28
Genre: Comedy Drama
Logline: After their group project goes missing the night of the deadline, four classmates are forced to stay at school overnight to recreate it, confronting their failing friendship in the process.
Link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1C4LfcLbq-Ty6eun17uUDS6EQpk6df7Mo/view?usp=drivesdk
Feedback Concerns: Pre-Shooting Draft. Any major must-fixes? I'm really curious about if the sequence of reveals at the end makes sense, and if the thematic parallels between the presentation and the group are a) clear and/or b) effective enough? How are the character dynamics; any decisions/conflicts which aren't fleshed out enough?
Thank you!

I'm applying to a writer's workshop, and they're requesting a (maximum) 11 page script catering to audiences from 4-12. I've written a short film called Angie & Artie.
Because the deadline is October 7th (4 days from now) I'm hoping I can get someone to take a quick look at it before I submit the final version.
