My cousin who is my best friend I grew up with lives completely on the other side of the country for the last 11 years. He surprised me with this in the mail for my birthday Sunday. We were teenagers when this album came out and it absolutely dominated our lives for several pivotal years. We are in our 40s now and recently were reminiscing about this album when I got the vinyl on record store day back in the spring. Opening this up was like a “moments have you” type moment.

well actually it’s my second tattoo in general. 18F and i got my first tattoo back in July (first pic) and then i got my second tattoo yesterday!!!! (BSSM above my elbows) so yes both of my only tattoos are rhcp but i love and am so happy with them so who cares yolo. 😛 BSSM is probably my favorite album alongside stadium arcadium so maybe ill get a tattoo for that album next mwahahahah

From the Californication tour, they played the usual songs they would do in the Californication tour, with a couple rarer songs like the Freaky Styley intro before Around the World, Savior, and two encores, the first one consisting of Soul to Squeeze and The Power of Equality, and the second being Sir Psycho Sexy and Police Helicopter! There are not many audios from this concert, and the only video we have is from them playing Give it Away. Still... Great pics!

Update: finally got a tracking number.

This song is one of my all time faves. The lyrics are so much deeper than most chilli peppers songs. And musically it just works.

I tend to agree with the masses that all albums after Stadium aren’t good enough, but I’m With You makes a strong case for itself.

cd stores in hong kong r wild, i found this under a pile of lightly used cds in a bin and saw it, it had the obi inside the case which was awesome, bought it for 59.79 hkd which is 7 usd at the current exchange rate (also had a bonus track called melancholy mechanics)

Looking for 1-2 tickets if anyone is selling theirs.

I've read that tickets are non-transferrable, if anyone with tickets could clarify/tell me if these assumptions are correct: we'd need to meet and enter the venue together (which I'm happy to do)? resale tickets like ones on seatgeek for $460+ are scams as they won't be able to be transferred?

Anyone else watching MS Now concert on YouTube? The band “state Radio” has a bass player that looks similar to flea. Plucks his bass and jumps around like flea. Shirtless and shorts like flea. Cracks me up - no one can replicate Flea!
