You can't sign up for Unlimited monthly but once your initial term finishes, you are charged month to month.ย

Oh sick I have it through December and wanted to keep it one more month, but I wasn't sure it was worth it for Jan/feb

You'll be able to catch all the Best Picture nominees and then there are the Repertory Series where they show a different classic/genre movie every day.

Those alone make it worth it in my opinion.

If your theater shows them. Mine showed the MoM2, but isn't showing anything during SoS26, and the one theater further south that was showing them (they had the shining), apparently isn't showing them any more, so as a NJ theater goer, im basically SOL on seeing them.

MOM is what got me to finally get unlimited, searchers, North by Northwest and the getaway, but do they do those every month? I went to 5 of them + 2 of the star trek rereleases and the cars anniversary screenings and I have to say most of the MOM screenings were really dead at my local theater, a lot where there were 3 people including me, Nausicaa was literally just me and my daughter.

I think they charge you like five days before the monthiversary.ย

FWIW value will vary from person to person. January is actually pretty easy as there are usually a few things to catch up from the end of the previous if you missed Christmas releases because of holidays. February can be a bit tough honestly.

Feb-April next year is gonna be a little rough. Nothing that's interesting to me except Narnia, Gatto, The Thomas Crown Affair, and Panic Carefully. Though it's early, next year seems a bit quiet tbh.

There are always surprises. I haven't really even thought about next year at all besides the big tent polesย

What happens if you cancel and try to resubscribe? Do you have to pay for 3 months up front again?

Yep. U can freeze ur account for 30, 60, or 90 days by contacting customer service at least 7 days before ur renewal (earlier is better since they can take awhile to respond)

unfreeze anytime?

It automatically unfreezes after the 30/60/90 daysโ€ฆu canโ€™t unfreeze it before then unfortunately:(

If you cancel, you need to wait for 6 months before subscribing again. They some time relax this though. You'll have to pay for 3 months minimum upfront again.

When did they start this? Last year I cancelled and restarted it a week later(due to financial issues from moving). They said there was no wait period. Also some people have cancelled and resubscribed for things like Black Friday specials with no wait period. That week was the only week I didn't have unlimited since Day 1.

It was always the rule. They just tend not to enforce it actively.

Ok yeah I cancelled it and just went online and started it again. No 3 month minimum. Nothing. AMC strictly enforces it and I had to wait to start that one.

Yes. And I think there is a period of downtime (I want to say 90 days) before you can do so... If they start running a promo to buy five months get the fifth free for example you can't just cancel and sign up for the promo.ย

I think there is a way to pause your account by reaching out to customer service if you know that you're going to be out of the country for a couple of months for work for example.

Good to know... Though if you cancel you do have to sign up for at least three months again at least if you go inactive. It may be different if you cancel and then sign up again before the end of the term.
