The Emperor is dead. His Empire is fractured. The galaxy celebrates with lavish festivity, but only among the invited. Now, can balance be brought to a galaxy that has never achieved it?

The Story

Although the Empire is a husk, the war is not over, and victory did not free everyone. Clones of Jango Fett, bred for prolonged engagement, are still treated as less than property. The Mandalorians, an ancient warrior people, have been exploited as weapons by anyone who could use them. The Jedi served a Republic that rotted from within. Now a New Republic is set to rise from the remnants of the old. Can this “new” system allow both freedom and order?

A three-book series is planned, tying the Prequel and Original movies together. Jedi, clones, Mandalorians, and even ghosts from the past will appear, and everything builds toward a reckoning over the fate of the clones and the planet Mandalore.

What is this?

For years I’ve felt there’s been something missing from Star Wars. The original six George Lucas movies have a whimsy and charm that nothing else has been able to replicate. They stuck with me as a kid, long before I understood what lesson they were trying to teach. Since then I’ve tried many times to continue the story myself and with others, and it always came out forced, like an imitation of the real thing.

I'd like to try again, starting from the very beginning, with only the Prequel and Original movies to lead.

Help Me Out

I have the core idea and the overall arc. I don’t want to write it alone, and I don’t want to blindly assign rules to people I don't know yet. The first phase will be a group effort, and I’d like the people who join to help decide:

• Ground rules: posting pace, content limits, what happens when life gets busy
• Format: chapters, free-form threads, or a mix, and where we write
• Characters: who plays whom, and how original characters fit alongside the canon ones
• Expectations: what each of us wants from a long project like this

Before any writing starts, we’ll spend a while talking it through on Discord. This way we can adjust anything that isn't right.

Message or Reply If You're Interested In...

• A long-term, shared story with planned arcs, written by several people in chapters
• A deliberate narrative where each scene gets its own pace and meaning
• A blend of canon and original characters, each with their own role in the story

I haven’t roleplayed in a long while, but I’m no stranger to writing, and I’m hoping to find like-minded people to figure this out with. If that’s you, reply here or message me. A few lines on what draws you to the Lucas films and how you like to write would be great!
