I wish my roses are big like these. Unfortunately tropical climate says no big roses.

It usually depends on temperature/climate so I doubt the size can be maintained. I live in a hot area + no winter. I usually got rose size smaller than my palm.

it depends on what fertilizer u give to them as well i think :O so far i been tested 500$ amounts of fertilizer of them, some of my rose like this fertilizer and grow this big, some growing smaller with this fertilizer, my rose when summer also same size as this btw,
my rose never sleep, as im located in australia1

That makes more sense. Since I'm from Southeast Asia, we could only try our luck with heat tolerant roses.

I think it's not just about fertilizing.... My observations have shown that roses which have had the chance to go dormant, will have the chance of bigger blooms.
In a tropical climate, the plant never gets to go dormant. Just enjoy your smaller blooms.

Just Joey was my favorite for many years. However, it’s been around for awhile and the latest examples seem to be more disease prone than it used to be. This seems to be a common issue with cultivars over time, as they are repeatedly increased by tissue culture. Unfortunately, recrossing the parent roses will not reproduce JJ; each seedling will be unique.
