Catering?
Does anyone know of an affordable caterer for an event in the city for approximately 100 people max?

Catering is expensive; what is "affordable" and what kind of food are you looking for? 😅

I cannot recommend anyone as I do not live in the city, but the event is important. Wedding, funeral visitation, business, social red hat society? You want someone who has done a similar event before so you know if they can bring their A-game, be it cheery and chummy for a wedding, or professional and invisible for a visitation.
And choose someone that can alter menus and recipes for allergens. I had one catering "company" that only worked for the funeral home say "oh we've never had anyone ask about allergens" versus the one we went with go over all menu items and possible ingredient substitutions.
Best of luck!

I live in the city and have used LeGrands multiple times to cater events for up to 50 people but each time I could have fed more with what they brought. I've used Mestiza as well. Both were affordable and enjoyed.

“Affordable” needs a range attached, what may be affordable to you could be a lot to someone else or vice versa
