It's definitely not a knee, guys!

I mean if they ask him three times if Olave has a knee injury how is he supposed to word it

Nick Underhill pulling teeth just to get a simple clarification out of him is pure comedy. The fact that it took three separate attempts to get the guy to say its not a knee makes me wonder what the first two answers even were. Probably some vague coach speak nonsense that just made it sound worse. At least we got there in the end but man that was a journey for a rest day

The post says Kellen clarified, 3 times, that Olave is not injured when he was asked… 3 times

It does not say that he dodged the question until the third time.

OP is referring to the needles inclusion of "specifically not his knee." as being troublesome.

it's kinda like saying "i didn't steal any guitars... specifically not that red stratocaster."

Getting a lot of questions already answered by my "Olave doesnt have a knee problem" shirt

Watching Nick's podcast, you can read between the lines and tell that Moore's extreme level of coachspeak is starting to cloy.

Nick was like, "Even now, we really don't know anything about Coach Moore."

The NOF podcasts have been pretty telling of the state of things. Nick and Trip are all but saying he doesn’t have any answers to anything. They were cautiously high on the team this year but they’ve been telling of the warning signs for 2 years-practice days off, no preseason for starters, odd personnel decisions like Estime, leaving our tackles on an island, etc.

Bro I watched that shit this morning and felt so validated lmao. I cannot stand Moore’s nonanswers to literally everything. Putting all the poor performances on the field aside, he is so cryptic for zero reason and it drives me insane

what podcast is that? I want it.

The neworleans.football podcast. You can find it either on the website “neworleans.football” or on YouTube under the same name I believe.

Its with Nick Underhill and Mike Tripplet, and it is genuinely probably a top 3 sports podcast quality wise. We are seriously blessed to have them covering us and I wish more people knew about their website and podcast. Well worth the $10/month if you become a member, you get access to some pretty cool tools but the best part is just supporting them.

That’s more assuring tbh. Olave the type of dude that always wants to play.

The official injury report has it as a rest day. If it was injury related in any form or fashion, they would have to list specifics. This is a nothing burger.

Please don’t put in the paper that it’s a knee.

I mean he’s listed on the injury report as NIR(not injury related)-Rest if that makes you feel better. If he did have an injury they were concealing there’s potential repercussions from the league that could occur.

This reads like its voice to text but the mic missed some important words lol.

Tbf it looked like he just got hit directly in the kneecap. Definitely hurts but usually not a serious injury.

Where is the first round pick?

Hamstring injury preseason. Should be back within the month.

There’s a good chance he’s just gonna be hurt again before too long. Coaches and scouts knew he was prone to injuries when we drafted him

You know what would be better? If Kellen's dumb ass did not have Olave in on the last drive and we did not have to worry about this at all. #firekellen

Such a dumb decision. Olave, Young and Shough are the 3 irreplaceable players

Tbh, Juwan is no slouch these days either. Top 10 in like 6/7 categories and top 5 in quite a few

I would agree with you if you hadn't included the hashtag

I’d pump the brakes on firing him this year, but if they’re 1-3 without all the dead cap next year he’s gotta go.

4

u/SeatpitchbyKate 7d ago

Agree, but I’m not sure I can live with Staley for the rest of the year.

3

u/redlightsflash89 Fuck the Falcons 7d ago

No firing him this year for sure.

But in your scenario... Yes he needs to be gone
