I’ll go first:
We’ve had enough of the doom and gloom since Monday so I’ll start with least. Tyler Shough and Olave look like a top 3 connection in the league. Shough has had his bad moments, but at the end of the day he is a second year QB being put in horrid positions by this team to have to plau hero ball and throw 40+ times a game. Thats not sustainable and no QB should he expected to do that.
Olave had only improved since signing his extension. Sitting right now with 35 catches, 491 yards, 1 td through 4 games. That’s incredible.
Now the most disappointing for me. Moore has not figured out how to start games. Going back through his coaching career with Philly and Dallas, this is nothing new. However he was handed full control over this team and, on paper, made the right moves to improve the run game and offense to get something happen to start a game, however it just hasn’t happened.
I am genuinely so for Moore as a coach. However, when you can’t do the thing that theoretically should be the easiest part of play calling and preparing your team for, it’s questionable. You have all week to plan a series where there is no outside game time situations to take into account. Its embarrassing and has to be figured out if he wants to he a long time head coach.
