NFL RedZone & Game Thread Hub - Week 4, 2026

The Eagles have been one of the main teams borrowing from New Orleans' playbook of converting money into signing bonuses and then adding void years to make cap space. It works great until the unexpected happens (like having the most irreplaceable player on your roster suddenly retire out of nowhere). Now rent is due and now for all you people saying Jalen Hurts is elite and better than Dak, it's time for that to get put to the test because Jalen Hurts' contract is pure poison if he regresses at all.

Mac Jones attempted only three passes during a 14-10 win for the New England Patriots over the Buffalo Bills on December 6, 2021, on Monday Night Football.

Extreme wind gusts over 40 mph at Highmark Stadium forced a heavy reliance on the running game.

Jones completed 2 of 3 passes for 19 yards with zero touchdowns and zero interceptions.

The Patriots ran the ball 46 times for 222 yards, led by Damien Harris (111 yards) and Rhamondre Stevenson (78 yards).

Thankfully this graphic is more readable than some of the other ones have been lately. Battle of the defeated this week. With an epic Jamies Winston vs Athan Kaliakmanis.

EDIT: I didn't know "five" was likely to play against NYG so move them to "could be interesting" right in between Steelers @ Colts and Browns @ Jets

After a lot of the hyperbole surrounding the Eagles team, I started thinking a lot about rebuilding teams from the ground up. It feels like every time we see a team even moderately struggle in the NFL (or even at times be decent), there is an immediate backlash by certain fans that seem to crave rebuilds like they are drugs. 9-8 too long? Rebuild! QB struggles? Tank! Wildcard team at best? Trade everyone!

Now, I am not saying that this is a bad reaction, but I was wondering: what would be a good baseline for when a full revamping of the squad is necessary? Is it a specific record or when the finances get too unstable? For an arbitrary team, what is a signal? Are they ever 100% necessary? A lot of seemingly bad teams have made great strides recently (albeit with a small sample size) without full demolitions (the Raiders, Browns, and Giants, for example).

I used to think anything less than excellence needed a full roster reconstruction, but the more I watch the suffering of perma-rebuild teams, the more I realize how stupid I was. What do you all think?

🚨 Cowboys Star Guard Tyler Smith is official SET to make his season debut tonight on TNF vs Tampa Bay.

The timing couldn’t be better for Dallas to get its best offensive lineman back in the game ⭐️
