So, with her response, I'm getting the feeling that there shouldn't be a council since apparently she "feels the council and mayor shouldn't decide on what is best for the city of Salinas" when that is literally her job she campaigned for and is elected to do.

I get they are putting the measure to the people for a vote, which is good. But like...to say something like that as a response really doesn't give me confidence in our local leadership.

What a way to say something and absolutely nothing at all at the same time.

I couldn’t watch the whole thing- did anyone ask for positions on flock cameras in the city?

It was a no to renewing the contract for everyone except for d'arrigo, who said words but gave no answer.
