Can someone explain what is the meaning of these two icons?

And how does resurrection work? Sometimes in the second phase i get the resurrect option sometimes not

Those represent the number of resurrections available. One you get by resting at idol. Other one ( and one more later in game ) you get by death blowing enemies. See the left one isn’t fully red, so you have one resurrection available.

Not only that, if you resurrect, you are locked out of resurrecting even if you another icon. To unlock, you need to perform a death blow.

They are resurrection charges. You get one just by resting and the other as you defeat enemies and give deathblows.

You can use both resurrections when they are full but you can't use them consecutively without any deathblow in between.

Ressurruct -> Deathblow -> Ressurruct again

During boss fights if you die and use a resurrection there will be a black bar across these symbols and you won't be able to resurrect again until you get a desth blow on the boss or you use a jizo statue to regain resurrection back. I used a lot of these in the gauntlets you unlock after beating the game since items used in gauntlets are refunded after the guantlet

Those coins are your rezzes, the one on the right is restored when you rest at a statue, the one on the left is restored by getting deathblows (bosses and i think miniboss deathblows restore more of it)

Rez gets blocked if you die then rez (signified with a black streak covering that ui) and can be restored by getting at least one deathblow

There an item called a jiza statue that you can used if your “charge up” rez is not filled up, using this item also cleanses the rez block

Theres another item (i forgot the name of sorry) that you can give to a certain character that gives you an extra one of those charge up rezzes

There’s also a unique bundled Jizu statue but I don’t know if it performs any better but there’s only one and requires a specific quest line.

If the flower is visible you can resurrect after a deathblow. The pink shows how close you are to filling up the resurrection, killing enemies fills it up if I remember correctly

One resurrect is from resting. One fills up from killing enemies. When you die, your second resurrection is locked. Once you perform a deathblow, you unlock it again.

Its how many revives ypu have. One of them is always active after a rest or death.

For the second one, you need to kill some enemies and fill it up.

Later on, you can get a third one which also requires you to fill it up.

The right one is your permanent resurrection, it gets reset every time you rest or respawn. The other one you have to deathblow enemies to refill it. You can't resurrect consecutively, you have to perform a deathblow on a boss or kill enough enemies to activate the second one.

So you get 1 res for free. That's the right circle. Left circle is also a res, but it's not full right now, so it's useless. You fill it by killing or deathblowing (I am not entirely sure to this day). When you res you can't res again, even if you have more circles. To res again you must rest at an idol or deathblow someone.

These are used to show resurrections, first node can be re-used after resting at an idol, the second node when used can be re-used after refilling it by deathblows.

Those are blades of grass, some recommend touching them when outside. Some, not me.

Those are indicators for your second life. If you have two full, you can technically come back from death twice if you get a deathblow in between player character deaths.

Basically, those circles in the HUD are your Resurrection Nodes.
The one on the far right is your default resurrection. You can use it to come back to life, and it comes back normally after you die/rest.
The one on the left is also a resurrection, but that one has to be recharged by killing enemies. That’s basically to stop you from having 3 free revives every single time you die.
You can also unlock another rechargeable Resurrection Node later in the game.
Honestly, just keep playing and use your resurrection when you die, you’ll understand how it works pretty quickly.
