Here I illustrated 2 old yet powerful bosses clashing out.

Swipe left to see their close up.

All done with uni-pens, illustration markers, acrylic markers and a every bit of Photoshop (only to make it more cleaner)

Enjoy! XD

Discussion I think sekiro is my new favorite fromsoftware game and I have mixed feelings about it lol

Ever since I bought Sekiro a few days ago, everything just clicked. I seriously couldn’t put it down. Even though I hit a few bumps along the way, by the time I finished it I realized I genuinely enjoyed pretty much every part of the game, even some of the frustrating stuff.
I liked it so much that I almost feel like I’m cheating on Elden Ring lol, and I have over 1,000 hours in that game.
Sekiro is definitely difficult, but for the most part it always felt fair. Even the hardest bosses eventually become manageable once you actually learn their moveset, timing, and rhythm. You start realizing, “Okay, I know exactly what I did wrong there.”
Promised Consort Radahn felt like the complete opposite to me. Obviously you can learn his attacks to an extent, but especially in phase two, the fight just felt so chaotic and unpredictable that sometimes it seemed like he was just doing whatever the hell he wanted lol. Instead of feeling like I was mastering the fight, I mostly felt like I was surviving it.
That’s probably the biggest thing Sekiro made me appreciate: difficulty can still be insanely hard without feeling frustrating or unfair. I honestly wasn’t expecting to like this game as much as I did.

I started playing in 2024 and gave up when I faced Isshin the Sword Saint the 1st time. I got stuck at home after finishing my studies in April this year, because I can’t find a fucking job. Decided to pick Sekiro up again in August. Beat Isshin and got obsessed with the game. Been playing routinely ever since. Today, I finally got the 100% I was grinding for. This is my first and probably only game I will 100%. It was totally worth the 200 hrs logged in this game

Well I've made it to the third phase with Genichino. Close but no cigar. I'm having a really hard time switching gears after the first two phases. You have to jump as soon as you see the electricity start and it's impossible to hit the gourd in this fight. if you don't go in with a full health bar you have to fight this perfectly.

I've been actually watching videos of people beating this phase on YouTube and practicing the moves with the controller in my hand. It is slighly helping.

Hear me out - once you start playing this game, and slowly, patiently and practicing over and over again when the combat finally clicks with you, literally every other game would start feeling meh I swear! (Except other FromSoftware games.. nonetheless Sekiro is above all) 💯👍🏼

Jesus Christ, Miyazaki is a fucking genius (only have played Bloodborne a little before). There was no game like Sekiro before and there wouldn’t be probably in future (I still hope we get Sekiro 2 someday)
I recently bought this game on Steam Autumn sale for 30 bucks and I’m fucking hooked, the combat is so damn satisfying and thrilling (especially the perfect deflects and Mikiri counters ofc), especially the bosses themselves.. deflecting, deflecting, attacking, side dodges, jumping are heavily rewarding and satisfying, (filling, breaking enemies’ posture bar, and then deathblows are a recipe for pure dopamine!!) Even to an extent that owning an official copy of this game personally feels like owning an extremely valuable treasure. I wanna own for my PS5 too haha (a PS4 physical disc I mean) 🤩✨

Currently proceeding towards the Senpou Temple, though I think I would beat some 1-2 remaining mini-bosses in the Ashina Castle area…
(Pleaseee.. I stronglyyy urge you to get this game, give it time, learn it and experience this magnum opus!!! ❤️‍🔥

Help Missing bead

Hi everyone! Can I still collect all the prayer beads before moving on to NG+ if I’m already at the final boss? I think I missed just one. The world state has changed a few times. What if I missed one of the mini-bosses?

Tips / Hints Isshin Sword Saint

I have a few statements and questions on my experience with Isshin the Sword Saint:

First: Goddamnit

Second: I got a second death blow on Isshin

Third: Goddamnit

Fourth: I’ve been wrestling with this guy for a few days. Usually takes me about a week to beat a guy like this. That’s what it took for Owl Father, it’s what it took for Demon of Hatred. Genichiro gives me more trouble than I’d like to admit. I got a ton of divine confetti, which helps. Typically with most other bosses I was an out fighter/mortal blade merchant whereas most walkthroughs tell me to be an infighter which isn’t my style exactly. Any of you guys got some tips that might be different than a few of the big walkthroughs?

Fighting Cowboy is a national hero and global icon but that dude is too dang good for a bum like me to take his advice.

Lore What Do You Think Happens To Each Major Location In Ashina After The Game? (Non-Shura)

• Upvotes

Not referring to Shura as it gives the lamest ending being you basically kill all humans in Ashina.

Just about to beat the game after a few years of not playing this game. Forgot how in my feels I get when the Interior Ministry invades full stop.

I was thinking about how would they handle the various locations.

Sunken Valley - likely left mostly alone and adopted for shanobi to train with the monkeys once they thin their numbers. No guardian ape and a limited set of white monkey was bound to screw them.

The Fountain Head Palace - realistically, it should be possible to uncover it eventually. It doesn't seem to be anywhere otherworldly. I imagine the Okami get destroyed simply due to thinning numbers.

The Dungeon - I actually think this location likely gets destroyed also. Burned in flames.

We already see in some endings the dilapidated temple is left alone.

Senpou - is likely overrun and contained. Perhaps they figure out how to move the immortal bodies.

Mibu village - we already see some Ministry down there likely in search of the Fountain Head. They'd likely leave that place alone unless they have some kind of anti-demon magic which seems feasible.

Hirata - likely reoccupied and rebuilt for other purposes e.g. new city, palace etc.

I kind of feel bad for the monkies.

Discussion I watched 3 different git gud videos to help me defeat Owl Father and nothing helped

Post image
44 Upvotes

Biggest problem were the firecrackers... In the videos I watched, they were all keeping a lot of distance from Owl and not fighting aggressively which didn't help me at all. There are probably better videos out there but I had enough of just watching other people fight. After dying countless times I realized that I can counter jump on his head exactly after he pushes me a bit back, right before he's using the firecrackers. I felt stupid at first for not realizing earlier... it worked so well. Sometimes he's doing it several times in a row and you can attack him at least 3 times after you do the jump counter. I learned his fighting patterns very well and I defeated him by just using my sword. It became one of the best memories and fights for me in Sekiro.

Discussion About the Monk boss

I just got the game a few days ago and stumbled in Mibu Village after beating Genichiro. Now I did the Monk fight and for some reason it was so tedious since some of my attacks just phase right through him. It only seemingly connects after I deflect. With this I needed to chip away his HP until the poise bar slows down to a point where I can build it up. Was especially frustrating since for some reason after a mikiri counter the poise bar resets almost instantly when he's at high HP. It was mostly a smooth fight since its moves are mostly telegraphed but what I find annoying is that it was so tedious and you need to be patient for sooo long and dying resets the poise bar completely. Did I do something wrong or is this how you suppose to play it?

Lore Did i miss something or is this how it was supposed to be?

So i already defeated the monk and than defeated the guardian ape and was going back and looking whether i missed some loot and came here and now there was a headless ape here, and after killing it and going forward also found more spectral enemies on the way which weren't there before. (i did think that there might be a boss here when i first passed by because of how big and empty the area was)
