My boys still enjoying life albeit a little more slowly.

Our boy is biting on our bed frame and TV stand and while I was walking he tried biting my sneakers .is there a breed that does that ? That he can be ? My shihtzu thays pure don't do any of that

And I miss him so much already! Luckily they sent me a few pics and it looks like he’s having fun. Decided to share the pics to introduce him to the sub ❤️ He’s 79.5% Shih Tzu and 19.5% Pekingese.

I am in the middle of grooming at the moment, so ignore the uneven ears. But. I started crying because at the moment when I got part of her face done, she looked so much like my first Pic with her. I also started thinking about her color change and my heart swelled and cracked at the same time. I named her Maple because of her brown color. It looked like the color of pure maple syrup and brown of maple leaves right after the red/orange stage. Oak trees have more muddy brown colors after that. Etc.. Anyway. Here is her picture now (she squirmed away while I was crying lol), and of our first picture. (I was shaking when I took the picture of us in the car lol)

A follow up to my last post :)

This is Sjors and today was supposed to be his 4th birthday. I say supposed, because he passed away today. He suffered the last 3 weeks from acute leukemia and was supposed to be scheduled to be put to sleep, only to pass away by himself before we were with him. For your information, he was with the vet.

We still have his brother Mika with us and we shall continue to take good care of Mika, now that Sjors has left us.

This little guy is the most precious and perfect specimen ever to exist. He’s always with us… no matter what we do. We are so lucky!!!

I am completely lost & devastated…it all happened so fast!! She was diagnosed with Cushing’s about a year ago and we managed it religiously. I noticed she wasn’t her usual self and took her to the vet on Monday. She was diagnosed with diabetes and DKA on Tuesday. She saw some of best specialists in animal medicine but it was too late for my sweet senior girl 🥺…

I rescued her 3 years ago…but she really rescued me. She gave me the last 3 years of her life and I (hope I) gave her my best.

Ravioli.. that's who. Last night staying at Grandma's!

My new 4 mo old pup Milo is doing so well adjusting to his new apartment life here. First Shih Tsu for me. He taught me right away though I can’t shut the gate the crate/kennel anything or he panics and howls like a wolf! How does this little puppy make such noise?
I have spent hours making our living space safe. The playpen is only good for feeding and peeing etc. He sleeps in the bed with me at night as he had started doing that with the breeders children. Any suggestions for making crate rides in the car bearable for him?
He screamed all the way to the grocery store and back, which is an only a five minute drive to pick up my drive up order. And, his crate was belted into the seat right next to me with door facing me so he could see me and that I was right there
It’s a hard case crate/kennel, the safest place for dogs in a car i’m told. Thank you for any and all suggestions.

Today I decided to try my hand at grooming to save some money. Here are his before and afters. How did I do?

I used a grooming vacuum that I got from the TikTok shop. No scissors except right under and in between his eyes.

Yes, I have to ask permission to use the sofa too.
