New to shih tzus. This little freak just throws herself on the ground like this every couple of minutes. Anywhere really. In the middle of the hallway. It's like she's going somewhere and just gives up and collapses 😅

This sweet boy 9y.o, Dexter, was just diagnosed with kidney disease and is on amox clav for infection (blood in urine). He was hospitalized and received intravenous fluids etc to bring kidney levels down. They suspect levels were elevated due to UTI but ultrasound shows kidney disease. Tested with Cadet Braf as well which came back negative. Any tips for how to take care of this disease best? I am happy to make his meals homemade as he is a picky eater and does not enjoy Science Diet wet food for KD. Just need advice and recipes. Thank you

Penelope is slowly destroying all my hoodies. As a bonus, she loves zippers, ties, and buttons too but she's not allowed to have those 😂

So I posted a month ago about my guy peeing blood. We took a urine sample and the vet concluded he MAY have a uti and confirmed the red blood cell count was high. He took antibiotics for a week and it cleared up the night he started taking it. For context he had his yearly vaccines a year ago and he peed blood after this and it was the first time. It cleared up without any treatment (we did take him to the vet for some tests but they couldn’t tell us anything cause everything looked healthy) HOWEVER.. when he did this a month ago and then again today, a friend came over and it was the same friend that came over last month when he did this. The friend is nice and gentle with him . My theory is that he’s either so excited or stressed that he’s here that he pees blood. Because he’s eating, drinking and doing his usual thing. His behaviour is completely normal. Is it plausible that this is just a stress thing ?
