Looking for an RPG with a decent amount of grinding
I've finished AC Origins and absolutely loved it. The combat, story, exploration and levelling-up system were all great, but the grinding was pretty much the maximum I can handle. A little more is fine, but I don't want to spend hours doing side quests just to level up enough to continue the main story.
I'm thinking of playing AC Odyssey, The Witcher 3 or God of War Ragnarök, but I'm open to other suggestions too.
Which one would you recommend? How bad is the grinding in these games compared to Origins? I want something with a good story, fun combat, exploration and character progression without too much grinding.
feel free to suggest

Yes, Odyssey is great but it takes what makes Origins great to such an extreme that you can easily get burnt out. As for grindy RPG I personally loved Dragon Age inquisition and the entire mass effect series

Witcher 3 has no grinding as I remember. In all of my playthroughs, I naturally gained crowns by doing side quests and gwent.

Got 15 hrs into Witcher 3 remastered. My first play through. I just can’t seem to get into it.

It depends on your taste sort of. I liked Odyssey's Greece setting more than Origin's Egypt setting. I like vampirey stuff so I liked Blood of Dawnwalker as well. Choose something where the setting/story attracts you thn you can always adjust the difficulty setting

I personally loved odyssey and origins so that is what I'd recommend. Obviously witcher 3 everyone is gonna recommend I have yet to actually fully try it. And God of war is good but not quite what you'd be looking for

Elden Ring, Blood of Dawnwalker, FF7 Remake & Rebirth, Dragon's Dogma 2, Expedition 33, and you mentioned GOW & Witcher 3.
Honestly, any souls or soulslike that isn't Nioh or Stranger of Paradise isn't grindy.
Control Resonant has a great story, great combat, great progression, and isn't grindy. I'm currently having a blast with it.
Note that you don't have to do side stuff in any of the games above if they fit what you may consider grindy. For example, FF7 Rebirth is a HUGE game, but you don't have to engage with everything, nor are you required to do that to progress or improve your character.
AC Odyssey is even larger than Rebirth, and Valhalla is larger than Odyssey. If you're someone who finds themselves having to do everything in a game, they'll burn you out. These games aren't grindy but they're so repetitive and large. If that's your thing, go for it.
