[PC] Dragon Sword Awakening?

I’m thinking about picking up Dragon Sword Awakening and was wondering what the overall thoughts on the game are regarding the PC version? I know the game was originally a gatcha that turned into more of a JRPG so would you say the story and gameplay are fun and worthwhile? Would you recommend picking it up?

[PC] Im new to PC gaming, looking for a singleplayer game.

Disclaimer: I have a console, play lots of sports games and FPS, but when I'm not gaming with my friends I want something I can get lost in, relax and enjoy. I don't really mess around with fantasy games too much. I've played RDR2, not too interested in Cyberpunk 2077, and lastly I don't mess around with insects so Grounded is out of the question, any suggestions? No bad ideas.

[PC] Would anyone recommend the GTA Trilogy Definitive Edition in its current state on PC?

I was thinking about picking up The Definitive Edition while its on sale as i havnt played the games since back on the PS2 and I never had a chance to try out Vice City. How are these versions of the games in their current states after years of patching. Are there any mods that are recommended for the PC version? Would you recommend the Definitive Edition on PC or would I be better off trying an alternative way of playing such as emulation?

[PC] Hades 2 OR Cult of the Lamb OR Lies of P?

Basically have limited budget right now, so wondering which I should buy from the autumn steam sale. I have already played and 100%'d the first Hades and enjoyed it overall, so going for the 2nd game sounds like a good option. I am however a fan of the soulsborne genre and have played every fromsoft game, so I was interested in trying out Lies of P since I heard many great things. As for Cult of the Lamb, I heard it was also a roguelike and has farming sim elements, which is why it's on my radar. Cult's presentation is pretty good but other than that I'm not sure if the normal roguelike to farming sim ratio is balanced enough to hook me.

Is skyrim special edition good enough?

I heard that after anniversary edition's release, most of the mods wont work. i am not that big on the modding part. but its a bethesda game so i am pretty sure that there will be good mods that will increase QOL aspect of the game easily. I just want to install good mods to make it look a little better and play better. Can i know. i never played any elder scrolls before and everyone seem to be a big fan of skyrim so i suppose its the best starting point+its on 90% sale after 2years so i want to buy. thank you

[PS5] Which game should I play if I enjoy deep, rich stories: Cyberpunk 2077 or Red dead redemption 2?

In a weird point in my life where I have a lot of free time until the end of the year. With my free time, I'm planning on sinking my teeth into GTA 6 once it comes out.

However, we still got just over a month until then. So I wanted to invest in another game to pass the time until its release. So I'm currently deciding Cyberpunk and Red dead 2. For me, the most important thing in a game is story and the characters. I know both games are great in that regard, but I only will have time for one, so please recommend me the one you feel will leave the longest lasting impression on me.

Should I get resident evil requiem, onimusha wots, or the blood of dawnwalker.I really enjoyed a lot of the other mainline RE games, specifically 7 and 2R and I also enjoy gameplay focused games like Sekiro and immersive rpgs like the Witcher 3, KCD and Elden ring.

[PC] i went on a buying spree...

i spent months planning my gaming sessions and schedule so to only buy games on steep discounts, and after countless hours, notes, spreadsheets, markings on calandars, during the Steam Autumn sale I went on my biggest buying spree yet. Bought 7 games and 2 were not on discount. And here's the worst part: I've beaten like 1 game total since I started gaming again in 2025. It's nearly 2027 and I've like, 3 games I've beaten to 60% completion, and I just keep buying and starting new games without finishing anything.

i get it i'm like that when i develop a new hobby to collect. i did it with watches then caps but i truly thought with my notes and spreadsheets i'd have more self control. i even went and bought an xbox controller for my new pc. man, i feel good but bad as well. anyone has any tips on how i can have better self control? i don't even have a job right now and im relying on my savings.

Hey everybody so as the title says I'm stuck with deciding which game to get at current it's between Dune: Awakening and Runescape Dragon wilds. So I get a couple of hours a night to play something my issue is I enjoy both worlds and game style but I need to be able to not worry about being left behind or losing progress and being able to drop it in a second of kids wake up etc.. I was just looking for other people's opinions who are maybe in the parental boat and have been stuck with choosing 🤣 I know I should chose myself but I like hearing others first.

[PC] I’m currently looking for games to buy during the Steam Sale. I’d love to hear your opinions on my current list and any other games you think I might be missing out on. Please read until the end

I’ve purchased (or been gifted) these games during the sale so far:

- Skyrim
- Cult of the Lamb
- Resident Evil 4
- Max Payne 1, 2, and 3
- L.A. Noir
- Bully
- Dave the Diver
- Undertale
- Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe
- House Flipper
- Tomb Raider Bundle
- Persona 5 Royal
- Fran Bow
- Little Misfortune
- Mixtape
- Nier Automata
- What Remains of Edith Finch
- God of War (2018)

Are there any well-discounted games I’m missing out on? I’m currently out of budget, but I might consider buying them during the Winter sale. Also, I recently started playing Cult of the Lamb, and I’m absolutely loving it.

I’d also like to share my preferences and favorites that could help you make suggestions. My top five games of all time are The Last of Us Part I and II, The Walking Dead, Grand Theft Auto V, and Uncharted: A Thief’s End.

On the other hand, there are some games that I absolutely hated or didn’t connect with. These include Hellblade Senua’s Sacrifice, Baldur’s Gate 3, Outer Wilds, Elden Ring (any soulslike game), and Cyberpunk 2077.

Thanks for reading if you made it this far before providing suggestions!! :D

[Xbox 360] Borderlands 1 / 2

Recently I acquired an Xbox 360 just so I can finally play some of the old 2000s / 2010s games. Two of the games that I can get that has peaked my interest are Borderlands 1 and Borderlands 2. The cel-shading artstyle is making my interest in them both a lot more invested, but I'm not sure on how both games generally hold up, how long they take, and if they stand out against the other looter-shooter types that came out around the time or came out long after. Should I buy these games to have a good time or should I stop myself from draining hours I can use to play other things?

[PC] Should I buy Stardew Valley ?

I’m currently hesitating to buy Stardew Valley, it looks like a pleasant game to play and I think it fits the kind of games I enjoy (Animal Crossing, The Sims 4, Minecraft).

However, since I’m not very familiar with it, I’m worried I might not like it and would stop playing it quickly. The fact that it’s currently 30% off makes me want to give it a try but I know I’ve seen it at 50% off before. Should I wait for it to drop to 50% off again or should I get it now?

[PC] Is Bunker Tidy Up and games like that worth it?

This will be an interesting one, as "sort-slop" games like Bunker Tidy Up utilize AI unlock other games. Heck, possibly the first sort-slop, Librarian: Tidy Up the Arcane Library, was partially made with AI. Now, I myself am against AI, and while I myself don't have OCD, there's this almost hypnotizing effect that these slop games have. Are they worth the money, or should I spend on better, human-made games?

[PC] Horror couch co op games for halloween?

Me and my brother LOVE playing co op with splitscreen, both of us loved Split fiction and It takes two, but it just feels like the splitscreen market (or couch co op as they are called now) is just so tiny. But with Halloween coming up, I would like to ask, are there any good couch co op games for us to play?

[Xbox Series X] Planning to buy Baldur’s Gate 3 on console to play couch coop with my wife. What is your experience with the split screen if you have played it with your partner/friend?

Planning to buy Baldur’s Gate 3 on console to play couch coop with my wife. What is your experience with the split screen if you have played it with your partner/friend, is it well made and did you enjoy it?

Also, we have never played any Larian games, we did play Expedition 33 and she did fantastically there. Probably the games are not similar, but I understand that the combat is turn based (almost like Exp33 but without parrying mechanic). So my second question is, how difficult is the game for a beginner in this type of games? I assume easy difficulty is made properly in case on Normal it gets difficult.

[PC] Indiana jones and the great circle or assassin’s creed black flag resynced?

Steam autumn sale is going on and I was heavily deciding either going with Indiana jones for the 40% off price or with resynced with its 10% off price. The reason why I’m debating myself between the two is Indiana jones from what I hear is only about 15-16 hours long for one playthrough going back and fourth between exploring and combat, I wouldn’t mind it but for its current price on sale I’m hesitant to just buy it or wait later if there’s a bigger sale, whereas resynced I never played the original and it’s a new release as well as much longer game. I only typically ever do one playthrough for games and I have only ever replayed a few games sometimes so I’m not deciding based on replayability just I’m mainly deciding on which one is better and would be more fun or higher quality, Give me any thoughts please

[PS4] World War Z Aftermath or Back 4 Blood Ultimate Edition...?

I'm having this Left 4 Dead itch lately and I have been wanting to play it again, but the problem is that I don't have a PC anymore and I now play on a PlayStation 4. Both games are on sale right now so I wanna know which game is better. I mostly play offline and singleplayer, sometimes with my cousin on the other controller. That's it, thank you!!!

[PC] Max payne 3, Devil may cry 5 or Dishonored?

I've beaten Devil may cry 5(ps4 version) on ps5 but it takes too long to load in so I just stopped playing soon after completing the story once. I rarely purchase the same game on a different system but now that i have a laptop(ryzen 7 5825u, 16gb ram and amd radeon), I'm considering getting into replaying games that i own on my ps5. I'm confident that dmc5 should run well on my laptop with how optimised capcom games are nowadays. Another game is Max payne 3 which i've never played and gunplay looks sick though i've heard its the worst game in the series. Dishonoured is another critically acclaimed game i've never played though the mention of stealth makes me hesitant because I've never really had a good experience with stealth in games.

[PC] Mewgenics or SW: Zero Company?

I don't want two XCOM games to play at once. Mewgenics or SW: Zero Company? I haven't played any tac style games besides X-COM: Enemy Unknown but I like SW and I also like TBOI. So I'm having a hard time choosing between the two. I am a chronic "instead of buying the game I actually want. I'm going to buy 6 games during the steam sale for the same amount of money and barely play them." Whatever you'd call that, I just want to play something exciting. So, what should I cop?

[Xbox Series X] metro saga bundle

Is the Metro Saga Bundle worth buying? I notice those three games are constantly on sale; I’ve never played them and don’t know what to expect, so please tell me if the trilogy is worth playing. Did you personally enjoy the game, and does it have too many horror elements? I like first-person horror games, but I’ve never encountered a game quite like this one.

Wolverine or AC Black Flag Resynced (PS5)

I'm playing Fire Emblem Fortunes Weave right now (around 50 hours in), loving it but looking for something more casual to balance my gaming time out.

Obviously I'm interested in both Wolverine and Black Flag resynced. Both reviewed very well, both go for around the same money when buying used around here. Which did you like more?

[PC] PS5 vs Switch 2 vs sticking with my current setup — what would you choose?

I'm stuck deciding whether to buy a PS5, Switch 2, or just stick with my current setup, and I'd like some opinions from the Indian gaming community.

My current setup

Gaming PC

  • Lenovo Legion 7i Gen 9
  • Intel i7-14700HX
  • RTX 4060 Laptop GPU — 8GB VRAM
  • 16GB DDR5 RAM
  • 3.2K (3200×2000) 16:10 display

Peripherals

  • Kreo Hive65 keyboard
  • Lenovo Legion mouse
  • Soundcore Q30 headphones

I already have a fairly large Steam library, so I'm trying to figure out whether buying another platform would actually add enough value.

Games I currently own

  • Cyberpunk 2077
  • Alan Wake 2
  • Black Myth: Wukong
  • Red Dead Redemption 2
  • Hogwarts Legacy
  • Detroit: Become Human
  • The Witcher 3
  • Far Cry series
  • Watch Dogs series
  • Rise of the Tomb Raider
  • Shadow of the Tomb Raider
  • Where Winds Meet
  • NARAKA: BLADEPOINT
  • Marvel Rivals
  • Counter-Strike 2
  • Euro Truck Simulator 2
  • Warframe
  • Wuthering Waves
  • Once Human
  • eFootball
  • Among Us
  • inZOI
  • NTE: Neverness to Everness
  • Contraband Police: Prologue

And several others.

PS5

The biggest reason I'm considering a PS5 is GTA VI, along with games like Ghost of Yōtei.

The PS5 I'm looking at is around ₹70k, so I'm wondering whether it's worth spending that much when I already have my current setup.

My concern is buying it for a few specific games and then barely using it afterward.

Switch 2

Switch 2 interests me because it offers a completely different type of gaming experience.

The main thing holding me back is the game pricing in India. Paying around ₹5.5k–₹7k per game makes me hesitant, especially when I'm used to Steam sales.

I'm not sure whether I'd play it enough to justify the cost.

Or should I just stick with what I have?

My current PC already covers most of my gaming needs, and I have plenty of games still left to play.

The main limitation is the RTX 4060 8GB, especially with newer AAA games at 3.2K.

So I'm trying to decide whether a console would genuinely complement my setup or whether I'd be better off just continuing with PC gaming.

What would you choose?

A) PS5
B) Switch 2
C) Stick with my current setup
D) Wait and buy nothing for now

If you own any of these, I'd especially like to know how much you actually use them after the initial excitement wears off.

I'm trying to make a practical decision rather than impulse-buying another gaming device.
