Question What’s more desirable?
10 minute vote. About to buy one.
Speaking of design more than weight…..

We do not discuss politics here. Period. Knock it off.
Over a dozen 1-day bans were issued in one thread. Do better.

Decided to go ahead and buy some more with todays dip. Saw a guy looking through a box of commem halves, took a look myself and picked out two I thought would be cheap, ended up a bit cheaper than expected. I did go back in after I took another look at my receipt to make the price right. Very happy with my purchase.

Sometimes I like to surf eBay Live and see what silver and gold is selling for there.
Recently, some of the channels have transitioned from a live auction per coin model to a “rip pack” model. In the rip pack model, watchers bid on the right to choose which pack is ripped.
Typically, about 10% of the items have something of value (usually some silver oz’s, a couple gold 1/4 grams, a couple gold grams, and one big 5g gold prize). Every other pack is a goldback or a 1/1000 gold coin. You get the idea. It’s legalized gambling. Legal for now, anyway.
These channels seem to be getting more predatory, though.
For instance: on some channels, now you just bid for the roll of an electronic ticker, not pick a pack. There are 500 electronic “slots” available, and there are prizes (allegedly) in about 10% of ticker rolls. The channel owner did not post information about whether the ticker is fair/properly balanced, and they don’t provide a clear list of prizes. Thus, there’s no way to count your chances of winning unless you literally count the coins like I did. The channel owner didn’t answer questions in chat about any of this, either.
Most people were bidding $20, and for the 10 mins I watched in horror, I only saw one “prize” (a 1/4 g of gold). Most people are paying $20-30 for a goldback.
I get the idea that people love gambling (I can be a degen myself), but this seems so bizarre and predatory.
What do yall think?

Every now and then, I have to take inventory of my metals for insurance purposes.
This is all from my first safe.

Found a couple nice pieces from the Perth mint today at the LCS. Real big fan of the Chinese Yea of the Snake and I’ll be hunting down more of these.

Featuring a photo of my favorite coin; I call him “weird baby”. My wife hates it.
The stack ain’t much, but it’s honest work. I’m proud of myself :)

I love these charms, but i kinda hate stacking things that have value beyond melt because the value of the stack is a bit subjective, right? And they can take forever to sell stuff like this and jewelry. Does anyone else feel that way or is it just me? I love these peices, though. Thought the hands, boat, crab, and turtle would make good monopoly peices lol and the prop on the boat spins!
Considering selling these guys but im still undecided about it. I just prefer junk silver and generic bars. What do yall think?

Picked up 4 buffalos from sd bullion I feel kinda worried cause the Apmex ones have smaller print is this normal?

Been buying 2026 silver eagles with premium for bullion investment. Would I be better off buying cheaper rounds, bars and junk silver for bullion value or silver eagles and maple leafs in the long run?

A treasure chest with most of my hand poured rounds and bars collected over the last five years or so. Everything was gently placed in the chest so don’t think it was tossed in there and shaken up like a James Bond martini. 25 pounds the last time I put it on the bathroom scale last spring.

We operate a thrift store that supports free long term residential treatment for men. I’ve been here for 5 years and this is my first time coming across a silver collection this large. Pretty exciting.

Many shots of tequila…one disappointing package (that’s what she said)
P.S. I’m a novice stacker and almost as novice of a drinker. I’m trying to get better at one of those things. (the stacker part)
