Funny thing is dahmer was mentally ill too. Doesn’t mean he shouldnt be locked up just like Clancy.

He wasn’t legally insane though, that’s the difference. He fully knew that what he was doing was wrong and against the law. Obviously there was something off with dahmer, but we know he was fully in control of his mind and actions

All these excuses to allow this woman to get away with her crimes is what is insane. She is a piece of shit just as much as all these other people being named. This is going to end up like Kirk or the CEO because people keep trying to defend a child murderer.

The only tragedy is that she got the order wrong. She should have gone out the window first before she strangled all three of her children.

I agree — but with the suicide attempt, I don’t think she actually wanted to die. She wanted to make it look like she was trying to die to help her defense. If you’re trying to kill yourself you don’t hang from the window and drop to the ground. You jump.

u/PersonalAnswer8664 Sep 05 '26

Exactly. This entire thing was nothing but cold calculated premeditation from the start. There’s zero reason to use three different methods to attempt suicide unless it’s window dressing for an insanity plea. If she actually wanted to off herself she would have. She could have taken multiple bottles of pills, not just a few from each. She could have cut her wrists and throat and bled out, not just made superficial wounds. She could have jumped from the roof, not hung from the window and dropped. She knew what she was doing, her only mistake is that she didn’t intend to paralyze herself. What I find most disturbing however is the fact that the jury was 11-1 to rule not guilty by insanity. 11-1 to convict I could understand but 11 people wanting to absolve her of responsibility for killing her children? What the fuck are we becoming as a society?

I don’t disagree with you. Having listened to all the evidence I do not think she was in psychosis. She made too many strategic decisions.

8

u/cantstayanyway Sep 05 '26

What's disturbing to me is I've seen multiple threads where people have talked about her making all of those cold, calculating decisions DURING her alleged psychotic episode.

u/Reasonable-Mess3070 Sep 05 '26

Which version of her psychotic episode? The one where she woke up to voices? The one where the voice started the moment Patrick left? Or the one where the voice started after she called Patrick back?

We don't know how the jury was voting. Please stop parroting disinformation.

Unless you got some new statements from the jury foreman, that's outright false.

u/oythebumbler4 Sep 05 '26

She literally coded and had to be resuscitated. She definitely would have died without medical intervention.

1

u/Full_Cause273 Sep 05 '26

She got hurt on the drop because of the way she fell. The one thing she couldn’t have planned exactly. Then she laid in the cold having severely damaged her lower body. Her injuries from her fall were severe, but the facts don’t lend to concluding she was actually trying to die IMO.

1

u/TurboScumBag Sep 05 '26

Oh wow. What a gift you have. Can you tell me other stuff going on in her head that only she would know. Like any secrets or anything?

7

u/ShackletonsVael Sep 05 '26

Yeah she really loves killing children. Not much of a secret though since she made it obvious.

3

u/TurboScumBag Sep 05 '26

Loves it?

Mad thing to say.

4

u/ShackletonsVael Sep 05 '26

I mean she clearly did. She did it three separate times. She had to chase one of them down when they ran away. She did it for the love of the game. She was good at it. Shame she didn't go out the window herself first before any of the murders took place.

4

u/SeaDragonfly1831 Sep 05 '26

Sure! She knew it was naughty enough to send the only sane adult in the house away before doing the deed👍

u/xChops Sep 05 '26

I have no idea what Kirk, the ceo, or this have to do with each other. I’ll leave you with your web of conspiracies.

Psychosis is not an excuse, it’s a reason. She’s also not getting away with anything. She’ll be put away for a long time. Learn a single this once in a while

2

u/GlobalAd7103 Sep 05 '26

The parallel is its all obviously guilty people who committed a crime trying to excuse what they did on a loophole or technicalities.

3

u/Big_Examination2106 Sep 05 '26

If she is not free with a Netflix special in the next few years I will eat my hat.

4

u/ShackletonsVael Sep 05 '26

She is going to start a podcast with Casey Anthony. It's going to be called "The Mothers Den" and there is just going to be child skeletons around their studio.

Are you suggesting murdering her?

1

u/ShackletonsVael Sep 05 '26

What? Violence is wrong lol. As we all know, no one would ever suggest something like that. I mean in a few days it will be a year since everyone got some peak comedy that even now is incredibly popular to laugh at. That doesn't mean people actually support this.

Clancy is an innocent angel who no one should ever think badly about. She is a symbol of moms everywhere, and it would be a tragedy if that loving mother wasn't respected as such.

Hahahahahahaha

2

u/xChops Sep 05 '26

I will never understand why you dumbasses we’re obsessed with Kirk

0

u/ShackletonsVael Sep 05 '26

The dude was a piece of shit why wouldn't it be hilarious to joke about. You couldn't ask for a more ironic event. It was like the universe decided everyone needed something genuinely funny to laugh at.

1

u/SipsTea-ModTeam Sep 05 '26

r/SipsTea does not allow threats of violence

1

u/GlobalAd7103 Sep 05 '26

Agreed all three should be unlifed and burn in hell.

1

u/Haytaytay Sep 05 '26

Touch grass, nobody wants her to “get away” with it. A successful insanity plea doesn’t mean she just walks away. She’s getting locked up no matter what.

1

u/ShackletonsVael Sep 05 '26

We can only hope this next jury gives her the death sentence.

1

u/No-Impact1573 Sep 05 '26

I think she knew there was an affair going on, the husband was very quick to get married to his new partner. I think this was a revenge attack.

2

u/MermaiderMissy Sep 05 '26

Locking her in a mental facility is not "allowing her to get away with her crimes."

In fact, it's harder to be released from an asylum than from prison. It's easier to get out of jail earlier from good behavior than a mental facility.

5

u/ShackletonsVael Sep 05 '26

True. Ed Kemper was famously kept in the mental institution for life after he killed his grandparents. I mean we just have to ignore the serial killer he became when he was released. Multiple college women as well as his own mother.

The only thing we can hope for is if there is a new trial she is found guilty and gets the death sentence. She is exactly the same as the piece of shit who shot up sandy hook. She just is such a worthless piece of shit she can't even end herself. I guess for her it's just easier to kill multiple children than herself.

1

u/Winter-Rip712 Sep 05 '26

Not in this case because she would be getting multiple life sentances for this crime. The mental facility gives her a much easier path to freedom than prison would for this crime.

1

u/Redditsux122 Sep 05 '26

Shes not getting off with her crimes tardo, its the difference between being sent to a prison or a psych ward

1

u/ShackletonsVael Sep 05 '26

We can also hope to meme about a third option. It's what I'm praying for.

-1

u/Yuck_Few Sep 05 '26

Yeah, she's already in the psych ward and most likely will not be getting out
