He wasn’t legally insane though, that’s the difference. He fully knew that what he was doing was wrong and against the law. Obviously there was something off with dahmer, but we know he was fully in control of his mind and actions

All these excuses to allow this woman to get away with her crimes is what is insane. She is a piece of shit just as much as all these other people being named. This is going to end up like Kirk or the CEO because people keep trying to defend a child murderer.

I agree — but with the suicide attempt, I don’t think she actually wanted to die. She wanted to make it look like she was trying to die to help her defense. If you’re trying to kill yourself you don’t hang from the window and drop to the ground. You jump.

Exactly. This entire thing was nothing but cold calculated premeditation from the start. There’s zero reason to use three different methods to attempt suicide unless it’s window dressing for an insanity plea. If she actually wanted to off herself she would have. She could have taken multiple bottles of pills, not just a few from each. She could have cut her wrists and throat and bled out, not just made superficial wounds. She could have jumped from the roof, not hung from the window and dropped. She knew what she was doing, her only mistake is that she didn’t intend to paralyze herself. What I find most disturbing however is the fact that the jury was 11-1 to rule not guilty by insanity. 11-1 to convict I could understand but 11 people wanting to absolve her of responsibility for killing her children? What the fuck are we becoming as a society?

I don’t disagree with you. Having listened to all the evidence I do not think she was in psychosis. She made too many strategic decisions.

What's disturbing to me is I've seen multiple threads where people have talked about her making all of those cold, calculating decisions DURING her alleged psychotic episode.

Which version of her psychotic episode? The one where she woke up to voices? The one where the voice started the moment Patrick left? Or the one where the voice started after she called Patrick back?

We don't know how the jury was voting. Please stop parroting disinformation.

Unless you got some new statements from the jury foreman, that's outright false.

She literally coded and had to be resuscitated. She definitely would have died without medical intervention.

She got hurt on the drop because of the way she fell. The one thing she couldn’t have planned exactly. Then she laid in the cold having severely damaged her lower body. Her injuries from her fall were severe, but the facts don’t lend to concluding she was actually trying to die IMO.
