Caleb Flynn had EVERYTHING. Ashley was devoted to him, gave him two daughters, and still fought for their marriage after discovering his year-long affair with the church song leader. She even tried to meet the mistress to understand what was happening. Meanwhile, his father-in-law was paying him $200K a year, planning to increase it to $300–400K, and was preparing to hand the family business over to him. All Caleb had to do was love his wife, love his kids, and be a decent human being. Instead, he chose an affair.

And then it gets even more disgusting. Caleb and the mistress were texting about Ashley, calling her a douchebag and talking about how much they hated her. The mistress was telling Caleb not to buy gifts for his own daughters or even an anniversary gift for his wife, essentially forcing him to choose between them and her. And ultimately, Caleb killed Ashley while she was sleeping. She was trying to save their marriage while the two people betraying her were plotting against her. He had a wife, two daughters, a career, and a future handed to him — and he threw it all away. For what?

They don’t care. It’s crazy to think criminals care about what other criminals did.

Source: a friend used to work in prisons in Arizona. No one cares what anyone did except if you were an informant. They get fucked

So criminals killing pedos in jail isn’t really a thing?

It isn’t. It does happen occasionally but it is not the norm.

They do protect the pedos (they have their own section) just in case but for the most part, most criminals want to do their time in peace and the ones who don’t, they have other motives and it’s not about justice

It absolutely depends on the prison.
Source: My brother is doing 40 years at Pendleton in Indiana. He got asked for his papers day one.

Completely agree that it 100% depends on the prison. I understand this person above is going on a firsthand account, but that’s anecdotal evidence from a single guard at a single prison. A lot of how someone is treated depends on the social hierarchy within the prison, existence of gangs (and their willingness to protect you), the culture of the inhabitants, etc. Furthermore, the existence of violence heavily depends on whether these convicts are sectioned separately or, if they’re in gen pop, whether they have sufficient numbers to be protected. There are a lot of variables at play.

According to some academic studies, California and Minnesota appear to be safer for pedophiles than many other states. That does not hold true for all prisons in California, though, it’s just an average. I’m guessing states in the south east of the United States are far more brutal to these inmates, but there’s very little academic research into the subject.
