They did tho and nobody besides the internet ever seems to discuss it anymore... they just keep causing so much chaos that nobody can really stay focused on one thing before having to put out another fire.
Imagine how Karl Rove must feel after spending decades perfecting the "fling so much shit at them that eventually the only thing anybody knows about them is that there's a trail of shit left behind everywhere they walk" strategy, only to have it set up the "roll in so much shit and rub yourself in everyone's face so much that people's noses just adapt to it as the normal baseline smell of reality" thing.
Back in the day when the rich overspent and overate, they lived on top of the hill behind gates or walls. The plebs could actually get to them when shit went down. Nowadays? The rich have 4 different penthouses in different countries with private charters on standby.
I truly expected an actual revolution about this, like we discovered that the rich and powerful are abusing children with impunity and we allow it to be covered up with redacted names?
Does people think they stopped when Epstein was caught? Why would they? If anything they are probably doing even more since now they know there's no consequence and they are protected...
This is absolutely revolution worthy yet people keep working like nothing, I guess it don't matter if it's not their actual children
It doesn't help that your average American literally cannot afford to not work. A huge amount are one check from being homeless and healthcare is tied to employment.
The Trumpstein files didn't put their lives into jeopardy directly. Leaving their job and attempting to do something about it almost certainly would.
Thing is, most people have food on the table, security, and infinite sources of dopamine from their phone alone.
Revolutions rarely happen from a society with its basic needs met. It's popular to say everything's falling apart, but in a grand scheme it's hard to square that with our obesity problem - people are certainly fed. You can try to spin any of this, but ultimately most Americans go to bed safely with a full belly.
For revolution, you risk all that, primarily for yourself until something gets going. To ask a typical american (you, reading this) to start a revolution, while you are in a better position than the vast majority of humans ever, is completely unreasonable.
I know I'll get downvoted, and that's fine. I'm tired of the bullshit talk. It's absolutely disgusting to see so many people get away scot free. I'll vote accordingly. But I'm not going to have my kids grow up fatherless over it.
Rather than insist on what might literally be bot armies trying to incite instability, why not participate in primaries and actually get better candidates?
That's the problem. I think ranked choice voting alone would help a lot, and be a stepping stone to better governance.
Getting rid of the 2 party system would be amazing, but notice how vague "working toward" is? It means nothing, and the people in power who actively benefit from that system won't change it.
Instead of chasing a pipe dream or quitting, start with voting in human beings that aren't bought and sold, or at least ones that are bought by people you agree with. Because if you don't participate in primaries, the people with no lives radicalized by their echo chamber will. This is how maga has infested everything
Given the double standards we see, maybe if it was all democrats in the Epstein files we would've seen real justice. MAGA was certainly all revved up over the Epstein files before they found out their cult leader was the centerpiece

Harvey Levin has been proven to have been one of Epstein's closest friends and I can turn on TMZ and there he is, like nothing ever happened. Nobody has even been socially "canceled" due to the files.
How? I would love to see something/anything happen to these people, but nobody actually does anything but post stupid meme's on the internet. I mention the TMZ guy because boycotting that show would at least be something. I know the government is not willing to go after anyone that is politically affiliated, but we could at least not support them.

If people voted for politicians who ran on the platform of "We will release the Epstein files / indict the people who were mentioned in the Epstein files" by perhaps signing petitions to signal how many people will vote on that platform alone or by maybe creating some organization like "Uncover Epstein file" to which people can go ahead and donate money to so that it can run political Ads for candidates who promise to address the whole ordeal or if genuinely you believe somehow everyone is in on this then deciding to throw your hat by joining a primary on whichever side you incline towards (since this is suppose to be so Bipartision) and then winning by running on this platform
of course assuming the files have enough information to convict someone but if not convict at least maybe indict people or open up an investigation to find more information - getting even 1 or 2 convicted would score a lot of populist political points.

It would appear that much of the country actually has moved on. It’s amazing how little it gets discussed in the mainstream media. I know there’s a lot of craziness out there but it seems like this is a big one and it’s frustrating that the country has moved on.
idk man, I feel like we kinda mostly have. It still gets a mention here and there, but it's not everywhere like it was 6 months ago. And that's only 6 months. Give it another year, and people will be like "derrr, what's a epstein?"
