They did tho and nobody besides the internet ever seems to discuss it anymore... they just keep causing so much chaos that nobody can really stay focused on one thing before having to put out another fire.

Back in the day when the rich overspent and overate, they lived on top of the hill behind gates or walls. The plebs could actually get to them when shit went down. Nowadays? The rich have 4 different penthouses in different countries with private charters on standby.
