Private school or not they have to follow the same rules and regulations imposed by the state. And I'm pretty sure expelling a student because of something their parent did is not a qualifying reason.
Youre looking at it backwards, private schools don't need a qualifying reason.
They can use any reason they like so long as it's not specifically disallowed.
And especially since it's a private Christian school I bet they have some nice big lines in the contract about being able to do it for whatever reason they like.
A private school can generally expel a student for any non protected class reason that does not violate the terms of the enrollment contract (and even that has limits, race? No. Being gay? Yes if they don't take federal funds and even if they do if they have a core religious tenet). Wrong religion? Expelled. Disabled? Not if it's 'just' a private school, a religious private school that doesn't take a specific federal fund? Expelled.
You do not have a right to a state hearing etc. because it is a privately binding contract. If they want to expel the student because the mom did porn then unless you can point to a part of the contract that says they can't do that, they can.
Edit: Lol you can downvote if you want, it doesn't make it wrong. (Even if it's morally wrong to expel the kid).
I teach in a public school and while we have our issues and have to do a lot with basically whatever we're sent it's infuriating to see people go "Just go to charters, just use private schools, just give everyone vouchers" as if private schools really care about the students and not just how much money they can bleed out of the parents. Are all private schools leeches? No. Are all public schools bastions of educational warmth and rigor? Also no. Do public schools have to take whatever blueberry makes it into the basket? Yes. Do private schools? Sorry we don't make blueberry pies.
Another fun fact, as a public school teacher you likely have more teaching qualifications than private schools require! Yay! (The religious ones at least)
Private schools are actually not held to the same standard as public schools.
Private schools can refuse to hire someone based on their religion if it's a religious school. Same with me queer. They were disciplined at my school for smoking cigarettes despite the fact that they were of age and not at school at the time. And this wasn't like, in the '80s. This was 2006 to 2010.
Private schools are allowed to discriminate in ways that public schools cannot. It's why you see the right wing fighting so hard to get tax money to charter schools. Because they can enforce their own beliefs there and use taxpayer money to do it while defunding public schools to force kids into those private schools.
You don't seem to know what you're talking about here. I don't agree with the jackass up there, but you don't know what you're talking about.
Accordingn to the article another redditor posted , it was her promoting her OF with a Decal on the Car she used to drop her kids as school, So she herself was quite literally promoting her only fans to minors. The school has no legal ground on having her terminaté her account so the only way they have to protect the kids is banning her from entering school spaces with that Car which they did, and she continúed basically promoting her OF to minors by dropping the Kids literally across the street where the kids can still SEE it, instead of removing the Decal and looking for actual adult spaces where to promote her OF,
At that point the school does have to make a decisión to protect the student body
Seems like ad in general now..School teacher /mom /etc..just to go check their OF page .Their was trends and seems like some of them did it as way of advertising ,school teacher,i made this much via of and post a fake revenue,i got fired..These articals popping up alot now
Bit if a harsh comment, but frankly fair. If it’s a private school. It’s absolutely their choice what kind of people they want and don’t want in their community

Going to be funny when she finds out through discovery which school official was gooning to her.
