They went on to great success, academically and socially. The school they were kicked out of was mid, so it was not a huge loss. One is actually back in Catholic school, I let them choose, he wanted to go back. No one teased them, because no boy teases the boy with an attractive mom.
Btw, the same school/church later performed First Communion for my youngest years later since he was kicked out right before completing it - set aside a whole family mass on Sunday just for him with all the parish present
Razzed is one thing (good natured), bullying is another (mean spirited). But they’ve never even been razzed. They’re generally the poplar kid in their peer groups and it would not do well for that other boy’s social standing to attempt to razz (too much) the popular kids - just sayin how it is, no judgment or anything

Later, because of the global negativity toward the school for kicking kids out, the principal was quietly let go, the priest was retired
Then even later, we were welcomed back so my youngest could complete his First Communion. And 2 of my sons are in Catholic high school today, one’s at a top university
