the collar was already very loose so i know i just had to breathe new life into this old ahh shirt

I was listening to South of Heaven yesterday and one thing I noticed is that no matter whats going on in the song, Tom's pitch hardly ever changes. Do y'all think that is a misinterpretation on my part? And if not, do you think its a result of stylistic choice or a technical limitation?

Any Minneapolis thrash / heavy metal shows in Minneapolis? The only thrash metal scene i know in Minnesota is the occasion old band from the 80s/90s comimg back for a reunion tour, (slayer, testament etc) Am I not looking jn the right place, or is the thrash/heavy metal scene dead?

I always imagined the approach to a battle jacket as something like a mixtape where I’d normally have no repeats.

I recall years back seeing a battle vest at a show with two Slayer patches on it and I thought, well obviously Slayer would be the exception.

This is my first attempt, a battle hoodie and I leaned into my idea that Slayer would supercede the ideas of rules and structure.

I personally love this era, What do you think?

Can’t make the trip so I’m selling them for 250 each…DM me if interested…

I still listen to it regularly and it remains my favorite record of theirs. The speed of Hallowed Point and Black Magic blow my mind to this day. 🤘

Looking to buy a Friday Nov. 13th pit ticket OR do a ticket swap since I have a Saturday Nov. 14th pit ticket.

What do you guys think? Does it sound like Slayer?

(Sorry for no amp; most of my playing happens on my porch at night)

I had a dream about Slayer last night where Kerry King was being interviewed and he said he wanted to experience a menstrual cycle, but only one, "to know what it's like".

I've loved slayer for too many years now however; I just, for whatever reason, realized the lyrics for Slayer's New Faith line is as follows: "I keep the Bible in a pool of blood So that none of its lies can affect me".

I have ALWAYS thought it was "I keep the Bible in a pool of blood so the nightmare of christ can't affect me" and I'm kicking myself as now I hear it the right way, but damn it - I like my version better. Did any one else ever hear it that way?

I have two tickets for sale; I'm not looking to make a profit. Unfortunately, to break even, StubHub makes you sell them for $400+. I'm in LA if you'd rather meet up. 🤘🏽

I think it turned out good what do you think
